If he participated in the receiving game so much I can't assume that he had a good blocking rate like you say. Probably a little lower. Remember back when I said it was arguable. You're basing it all off to say that he's a far better AAB that Bradshaw. That's what I had an issue with. Your logic isn't making sense. He participated in recieving a lot, so you doubt he was efficient as a pass pro? Find Jamaal Charles rank. He is a vastly better all around back. I'm luling that this is really a question. I presented the link. He wasn't in top 10, opposed to Bradshaw. Don't keep ignoring that to say he's vastly better. He may be better but he's not vastly better. You're completely underrating Bradshaw as a runner too.

He does gain help from the OL and Brees, I admit that, but that doesn't mean I don't recognize Pierre's talent. I mean, everybody recognizes the great talent TJ Yeldon is, even though the past two years he had been running behind Mccarron and the best OL in college football. Just because he gets help from the rest of his offense doesn't mean he -needs- them to succeed. *Cough* Trich *Cough* Not trying to compare Trich to Yeldon. I like Yeldon better than I did Trich coming out. By quite a bit actually. But not as much as Lacy. But Gurley > M. Davis > Yeldon imo (changing topic to CFB I know but I'm sure you don't mind) As far as Pierre goes, I haven't watched him nearly as much as you obviously...I'll watch him a lot closer this season.

Ok heres my final answer... And I know people will disagree, cuz thats just what we do. We would have to order 60 different pizzas in order to satisfy everybody here if we were having a pizza party. Best Rb of all time - Barry Sanders Best all around back of all time - Walter Payton Best RB currrently - Adrian Peterson Best all around back currently - Shady McCoy, J Charles (TIE)

I get Saints and Cowboys games every week. Mo is right IMO....P Thomas is a good back. As matter fact...someone dropped him in one of my leagues and my waiver claim is in....lol

If you replace M. Davis with Melvin Gordon from Wisconsin, then I agree with that list. I need to watch Mike Davis more though, I think I've only seen like two games of his.

I can't place Gordon because I have seen very little of him unfortunately. Davis runs a lot like Lacy. Similar build too.

I've said a couple of times that while Bradshaw is a better pass pro, the gap isn't very large (but you didn't post the stats to back it up) while the rushing and receiving are huge difference. Do you know how many 1000 hard seasons Bradshaw has? Did you know Bradshaw has 400 more career receiving yards than Jamaal had last season? Yes, Jamaal is far and away, so vastly superior to Bradshaw all around, its not even funny.

I know people like to laugh at the Big Ten's incompetency, but last year, Melvin Gordon averaged 7.8 yards per carry as Wiscy's feature back!!!Those are literally video game numbers. Regardless of competition, that's insanely impressive IMO. Kirk Herbstreit said Gordon runs like Eric Dickerson, lol

(Also some nice vids of him making some eagles look like trash)
