I really rate Matt Forte but most people seem to judge him as average.Just wondered if anyone else rated him and if not,why not?

I hope he is #2 behind McCoy or #1 infront of McCoy........ Bush is gone, but how much can he take before he get hurt? I really do not see him running between the Tackles on the goaline..... Maybe a screen pass........

He is easily the best all around back in the league.
Peterson is the best pure runner IMO
Charles and Shady are also better runners and probably equal receivers..
Forte is the best combination of runner, receiver and blocker out of any back in the league. If I had to choose a back to build a team around it would be Forte.

This is what I would have posted, verbatim.

Well, if you listen to craig440, he is just average. But methinks he's just jelly of the guy who got him in the draft last night. Hard to rank the top 4, but IMO Forte's right up there (with McCoy, AP, and Charles). He's probably more versatile than any other RB. A perfect blend of size, speed, blocking. More elusive than his height normally suggests. And it allows him to line up anywhere, including wide. Not a bruiser like a Lynch or AP, but he's got no real weaknesses.

I was just messing with Eddie when I said he was average. He's top five in my book.
