Hey if they're so concerned with him not playing week 1, they miles well shelf him the rest of the season. Well unless their record goes to shit, in which case it's better to get him some experience. The difference between Hoyer and Manziel is minimal, neither are going to win many games this year. Hoyer will take care of the ball a little better most likely, but Manziel will likely make more plays. Either way, I can't wait to see the hype train crash and burn. I feel like we almost agree. But I don't have the anti Browns spin at the end. I think us Steeler fans should actually thank Lil Johnny. Before, the Browns were nothing but an easy W (Something like a 17-1 record against Ben). For the fans that thought Manziel was an arrogant punk at Texas A&M actually has something to look forward to when playing the Browns.

Besides I have been touting Hoyer for the past 4 years. I dont remember anyone ever agreeing with me when I said how good Hoyer could be when he was backing up Brady. I told Jancey that he would start before Mallet...

Lebron has bandwagon fans. Peyton Manning has bandwagon fans. Look at Tim Tebow. If those fans weren't bandwagon fans, I don't know who is. Heck, half of the fans of the Patriots don't even know anyone on the team other than Tom Brady. I guarantee you once Brady retires, the Patriots will lose about half their attendance.Saying players don't have bandwagon fans is downright ignorant. Peyton Manning fans are still fans of Peyton, they have been fans of Peyton ever since he became a known name and they havent switched to another player. That by definition is not a bandwagon fan. Same goes for Tim Tebow. Is that some sort of joke? According to this logic every Patriots game before 2001 should have 50 percent of the attendence we have today. I guarantee you it isnt even close to that. You speak of ignorance, yet you completely misuse the term bandwagon. They are switching teams because of a player. That is by definition a bandwagon fan. Colts fans became Broncos fans when Manning went to Denver. Broncos fans became Jets/Patriots fans when Tim Tebow left. Aggies fans are now Browns fans because of Johnny Manziel. www.complex.com/sports/2013/07/signs-youre-bandwagon-fan/no-losing-seasonsLook at that site and take a look at #9. I'm not the only one that thinks this way.

That doesnt make someone a bandwagon fan.

That doesnt make someone a bandwagon fan. If you switch favorite teams because of a player, you are by definition a bandwagon fan. People who were Heat fans because of LeBron James are now Cavaliers fans. Claiming you are a fan of a team because a player went there is being a bandwagon fan. If you are a fan of a player and you go to games to watch a player, that is all fine and good until you claim yourself to be a member of that fanbase. Changing favorite teams though over a player is disloyalty to the team and you aren't a real fan of the team.

patriotsk1d You are right.. Someone CAN be a fan of a player, and not care about the teams. BUT that is not true in the Lebron case. If Lebron comes out and puts up 10, 2, and 2 he will lose all of his fans.

You are putting the majority of people who root for a player in the same category, yet you have no evidence of this.
