Maybe not as much , but yeah, he deserves mention in this thread too. I think just like Pierre, Bradshaw doesn't get the recognition he deserves. But Thomas > Bradshaw as a receiver, and personally I'd take him over Bradshaw as a runner as well because Pierre is more of a complete package running the ball. (Pierre has a very good blend of power and speed/elusiveness, and from when I've watched Bradshaw he doesn't seem to have much power although he is very shifty and quick) They are about equal on blocking though. Both are excellent in that aspect. You must not watch Bradshaw much, do you? I am saying right now that he is the toughest RB in the league when considering his size. He is deceptively strong and uses his legs to push the pile. And no one is equal to Bradshaw in blocking. Bradshaw is the best. if AB is healthy, he is up there on the list of guys I would take. You cannot rely on him, but when healthy, one of the best complimentary pieces out there. Pushing a pile ≠ break tackle ability. Thomas can push piles too lol. Bradshaw may have an edge in blocking, but I'm still taking Pierre as a receiver and runner, and Pierre is NOT a slouch in the blocking game either. I did say Bradshaw is good, but he's not on Pierre's level in terms of being an all-around back.

I don't know man.
Just to be clear, Bradshaw DOES break tackles, but he is notorious for keeping his legs moving. Pierre has the edge in receiving, but you seem to be selling AB short as a runner.

I think Charles is the second best RB in the league, behind AP. He is the best receiver out of all of them, if you ask me. He's also a top-5 blocker. He makes some nasty blocks. It's actually really surprising, since he doesn't seem all that big when you watch him. McCoy is up there too, but I don't think he's as good of a blocker as some of the other guys. Charles being a better blocker than McCoy shouldn't make him the better RB. McCoy is a better runner, an equal pass-catcher, and isn't far behind in speed. Equal pass catcher? No, not in my book. Guy just had 4 receiving TD's in one game, and he leads his team in receiving. I would say that him and McCoy are equals as far as running the football goes. McCoy is on a team that throws the deep ball more more than any other team in the entire NFL. That makes it easier for him to run since the defense isn't crowding the box. It hasn't been until recently that the Chiefs have started taking deeper shots, and even then the other teams crowd the box to stop Charles.

McCoy blocks very well, you never see him give up or miss on blocks...McCoy's only down fall is his break away speed. No RB since Barry Sanders runs like McCoy. Hes a human joystick. The kid breaks ankles like no one else in the league Not to mention he's the #1 rusher this season.

Why are you trying to sell my boy short?!? jorkenmeister - Uh...excuse me, sir! Are you gonna use the best performance of Charles entire career by far, that coincidentally took place 2 days ago to make a comment like that? This is the 1st season Charles has gotten over 45 catches. McCoy, not less that that since his rookie year (40). 2010 he had 78 catches. 2012, 54 catches, but missed 4 games - add 1/3 = 72. 2011, a paltry 48 catches, guess he was busy racking up 1300+ rush yds and 17 TDs - plus 3 pass TD, eh a little icing on the cake - and oh, he missed a game. This season, McCoy still has more all-purpose yds than Charles. As far as Charles being the teams top receiver, it's just not that hard. I know this is an extreme and unusual example, but let's put this in perspective. Broncos... All 3 WRs have 70+ catches (224 tot). Julius Thomas (TE) & Moreno (RB) each have 50+ - more than Chiefs top WR - Bowe w/52. All 5 of them have 10 or 11 TDs each (except for #3 WR Decker who has only 8). Throw in Caldwell, Tamme, and Montee Ball for another 42 catches and 8 TDs. I know the Chiefs have certainly had their share of offensive woes. And not to take anything away from Charles great season, but he's not done it with the consistency McCoy has on every level, especially receiving. And this is with several years of china doll Vick and a 'dream team' defense that was a monumental disaster and couldn't get opposing offenses off the field since. They are finally looking like a balanced team on both side of the ball.

Might be a little homerish, but... I think in a few years, Le'Veon Bell could be in this discussion. As a rookie running behind a patchwork OL, he has 198 carries for 646 Yards and 6 Touchdowns (should be 7), to go along with 43 receptions for 388 yards. And he is a great blocker with a body like a linebacker at 6'1" 244 lbs. He doesn't have any one particular skill that pops out at you as elite, but he does a lot of things very well. He is like the Shawn Marion of the NFL (without the ugly jump shot).

Might not be the best overall. But he gets left out of the discussion more than he should.
