Didn't know Charles was good at blocking. But I'd have to say Shady, who I KNOW is a good and willing blocker, as well as receiver. There's really nothing he doesn't do well of the 3. As a pure runner, I'd probably say AP. He IS a punishing runner, but I don't think he's considered a good or very willing blocker when he doesn't have the ball, someone correct me if I'm wrong. But as overall, I'd probably say a tie between Charles and McCoy. If you wanna throw durability in the mix, edge McCoy. Charles might be a bit faster. JW has McCoy been hurt? Like has he missed games? I don't know. That sounded kinda sarcastic, but it wasn't.

At the end of 2012, Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranked Marshawn Lynch the 22nd-best backfield blocker. McCoy slipped to 36, while Peterson plummeted to 46. Charles, despite weighing less than all three, finished 12th.

Pierre Thomas is in this discussion too. Wow. Best RB discussion?? Well not if we are just talking best RBs. But if we are talking best all-around, yeah, he certainly is in the discussion. Thomas is having a bit of a down year running the ball, but I think over the years he has proven he is a very good runner. (4.6 yards per carry is his career avg.) He also is an outstanding blocker (one of the best blocking RBs according to PFF I think), and is leading the league in receptions for RBs this year with 71 recs.

Like has he missed games? I don't know. That sounded kinda sarcastic, but it wasn't. Honestly don't know what you mean. WHO is sarcastic? I said McCoy has the edge in durablity, meaning he is durable. At the end of 2012, Pro Football Focus (PFF) ranked Marshawn Lynch the 22nd-best backfield blocker. McCoy slipped to 36, while Peterson plummeted to 46. Charles, despite weighing less than all three, finished 12th. Yeah, some weird numbers like those ring a bell. IDK what they're referring to. Those #s (like 22, 36, 46) can't be referring to just RBs. Must be like all offense aside from the o-line( ). But I DO recall something of the sort, where AP was not a willing blocker, and neither was Ray Rice. You'd never think that watching them run the ball. Beast mode probably leading the pack. lol But you say Charles, quite a surprise to me. Anyway, if these are the number's I've seen before, they're old, right? Like over a year. IDK, Charles missed 2011 right?

Pierre Thomas is in this discussion too. Ya know...I wasnt going to mention him,,But I really like Thomas as an all around RB. Hes always impressed me. Hard to bring down, catches alot of passes, and blocks really good. And he shares the backfield with 2 other RB's. Best kept secret in the NFL

Matt Forte. I don't believe there is anyone as skilled in all three aspects of the game as him. There are people who are better at each individually but he is such a completely rounded back. I think Forte is one of the most underrated and overlooked players in the entire league.
