it was hard super to defend eli at times last year ,like that 4 game stretch where he went without a touchdown pass, killed me. and also the fact that we lost alot of winnable games last year, while we dominated both sf AND gb,i felt like we were alot better than 9-7,just like the year before, except we won the key games that we needed to win in 2011 ,while in 2012 we literally fell flat in them, part of that has to go on the qb.

yeah kinda what Im saying. Ive never really judged Eli on stats. If we did hes never really been great. What makes Eli great is doing it when it counts. Thats what his claim to fame has been. But he did the opposite last year. He blew games and made huge bad choices. Threw Romo style game changing picks. It was a mess.
If now I cant judge him on pulling games out of his ass I gotta judge him on stats, and his stats are not in the top 10

The Giants resign QB David Carr ===== they always come back lol
And Stevie Brown signed his 2nd round tender. Hopefully he does not slump, we need him now.

You guys got Louis Murphy, I've always liked what he can do, he'll be a good addition to your team.

I am still very apprehensive about Cruz status. By now, most of us have heard that Eli is willing to restructure his pay - again, like he did last year if memory serves me well - in order to make room for one of his favorite targets as of now.
It's been widely reported that Cruz is asking for too much money, to the point of scaring some possible suitors away (reportedly the Colts, rumors that were later denied by Jim Irsay), but how much exactly? Earlier in the year, speculation was anywhere between $8 and $10 million/year.
I wonder.

Very quiet on the Giants homefront as of late, as for FA as a whole.
Has anyone heard anything regarding Dansby as of late as to where he might be heading? How about James Anderson? And Justin Durant?

Surprisingly, the Giants re-sign OG Kevin Boothe, to a one-year deal. The amount has not been revealed yet.
However, a great signing for the Giants, and this might be the end of Diehl now that the team has their LG...

@rvacchianonydn: The Giants and David Diehl finally reached agreement on his contract, lowering his 2013 salary from $4.475 million to just $1 million. #NYG
