sorry saint fans, but i had to make a thread about something about you guys this week, since none of you choose to make a saints game preview thread
just add anything you guys want
Ok, so its finally here, its time to see what to watch for this game
*The new additions on the saints defense. this team hasnt lost much in the offseason besides there coaches. curtis lofton was my favorite signing out of any nfl team this year and he will do just fine. bringing in david hawthorne from the seahawks was also a good signing who will now play OLB instead of ILB like he did with seattle
*The new secondary. the saints will be without jabari greer and patrick robinson this game, so get ready to watch 3rd round pick from last year johnny patrick get alot of playing time this game. remember this guy playing for louisville and he could of very well been a 2nd round prospect for any team. he will do well in the nickle, but will he do even better as a starter?
*Who will step it up as a coach. not only will sean payton be gone for the year, but joe vitt will miss the first 6 weeks of the season is well. whos gonna step it up as a coach in place? my guess would be steve spagnuolo, but who knows. if the saints want to not struggle this year, the coaching better give it 150 percent this year
*the amount of playing time for the starters. will the saints be getting alot of playing time this game so they can get as familiar with there coaches as possible? if they do, saints will likely win this game
CONCLUSION
the game does not matter, but i see the saints winning this game 30-20
what matters in the long run will be if the saints can defend that division from teams like the falcons and panthers this year. only time will tell
