from what little i have seen from chase daniel over the past few years is that he seems like a good back up. but as lostabroad mentioned his arm strength isnt that good. his decision making is ok, not great but ok. what i like about him is that his nose is constantly in the playbook and hes always trying to improve on his skills.

I wasn't impressed by Daniel. He threw several passes behind his receivers. Defenders were off the pace and he got away with it. He ran with the ball twice when he should either have attempted to force it in or throw it away. He also showed that his arm strength isn't great. His surrounding cast enhanced his numbers. He'll be a cheap adequate fill-in if Brees wants to come out of a game early, but I don't think he's more than that. It's early in preseason though. i dont understand how you can say daniel wasnt impressive. yes, his arm strenght is not that great, but he was accurate for most of the game, despite that one INT. 15 for 20 is very good. what more do ya want?
