So I know if players of really good value start sliding a trade up could happen, but with the amount of depth in this draft I think there would be more value in a trade down. Unfortunately this is the first draft in 8+ years that I will not get to watch, until day 3 at least.

When I was in high school, I was often on school trips or family vacations at this time. Just weird coincidences, especially since my family almost never went on vacation, just several times during this one week in April. I remember my family took me shopping in downtown Santa Cruz in the 2013 draft. I ditched them and sat at a dive bar illegally to watch Justin Hunter get selected on a tiny TV with no sound. It was one of the more surreal moments of my life. On a totally unrelated note, I heard a rumor that the Pats want to trade down and gets picks for next year from bad teams. They might just ship their first this year for a first next year with no strings attached. Since they're at 32 and rarely play rookies, I wouldn't even say that's crazy.

Yeah I might try to watch it on my phone, but probably not. Nothing would shock me in terms of a trade down, we have a 2nd, 2 3rd's, and 2 4th's already so we are in fairly good position when it comes to mid round draft picks. This redshirt philosophy has worked out really well recently, so I would expect to see more of the same this year unless we are talking about a great player. We made an honest attempt to add another outside receiver this offseason so I wouldnt be shocked if we targeted one early. I would almost be willing to package a 1st and a 2nd from next years draft to get Leonard. The Pats dont usually listen to me though.

Always listen to it on the radio, but I won't be able to do that tonight. A fairly cute girl wants to go out to dinner tonight and then go to the opening of Avengers 2. A girl wanting to see a superhero movie?!? Yeahhhh I'm not gonna say no to that one. So I convinced her to go to Bdubs so I could sneak some peeks over her shoulder at what's going on.

Every time Belichick takes a d-lineman in the first round, the Patriots win the Super Bowl. Seymour drafted in '01 = win Ty Warren in '03 = win Wilfork in '04 = win Easley last year = win Brown this year
Guess the Pats are gonna repeat
