I have to imagine that Iowa was quite divided with, Iowa State, Iowa Hawkeyes, Bears, Packers, Rams, Chiefs, and Vikings all having claim to certain parts and that's just the Football teams.

I'd even say the Steelers have a bigger fanbase than the Eagles on history alone - not population. But yeah, the Phillies would probably also be bigger than the Pirates. The Eagles have been around longer and were winning championships first. Nationally, steelers by a landslide but in the state...doubtful. Yeah the state it's self it's pretty half and half surprisingly, at lest it seems like it here in mid-state. Although the people in western PA would look at you sideways if someone grew up there not a Steelers fan, a Steelers fan in eastern PA probably doesn't seem like a big deal.

EagleDomiKnationI guess that's just me being so used to Atlanta. There's a ridiculous amount of bandwagon fans here, so it's harder to find Falcons fans than it should be. If you walked up to 10 random people who like football and asked them what team they like you'd probably get 4 falcons fans, 2 saints fans, a pats fan, an eagles fan, a giants fan, and a steelers fan. Then there's those people that hop on the reigning champs bandwagon. Basketball is even worse. I am literally the only Hawks fan that I know, so that's all I need to say about that.

You are the only Hawks fan you know? In Atlanta? ...lol I've never liked Atlanta (because of their traffic/cops) but man, your city sucks. Glad I live where I do.

It's kind of like that here in Tennessee. I would absolutely be willing to bet that there are more Alabama Crimson Tide fans in Tennessee than there are Tennessee Volunteer fans.. Which is horrible considering those two are huge rivals.
