Hmmm I guess that depends how you see Shazier. I know I'd take him as an ILB easily, let him play Mack and have him play the middle of the field and have Timmons play Buck and be the primary hole filler for the run game. If you can keep Shazier clean he would have an outstanding ability to chase the ball carrier, play side line to side line and shadow most receivers in the NFL, not to mention he'd be deadly as a delayed blitzer. Well I am projecting Shazier as an OLB, although he could easily play ILB. Shazier is my favorite all around LB besides Mack. I actually think Shazier is top 10 talent, however most teams have bigger needs than a player like Shazier. I really hope he is around at 29. OLB in a 4-3? I know Morkim said he thought Shazier would make a good replacement for Hali, Which I thought was... odd. He doesn't really have what it takes to hold the edge or play the run imo. Like I said he would be just fine on delayed blitzes or any time he gets a free release to the QB since he would hunt down any QB in the NFL, no one is out running him. I love the guy because he would easily replace what Polamalu does in the box the past few year. Of course we wouldn't have that additional man in there, but they would still have the athleticism. Shazier simply fits what a lot of teams need in the NFL today.

I mean kind of makes sense right? You have the biggest workout of your life, you bet you want to be hydrated. I dont doubt that he was telling the truth. Honestly I could care less if he had weed in his system though. As long as it doesnt effect him on the field. Well.. It would if it results in a suspension in his future

(Fingers crossed) Hopefully Khalil Mack will have the next failed drug test. Lets hope he does more than fail the test. I want him at 29 or even further down lol. Pshhhh He's gone by 15, I'll guarantee that. Even if I have to kidnap Colbert and make the pick myself hahah

Although I think both Hali and Shazier are underrated vs the run.

But I just feel like Shazier is better fit in space, OTs might be able to push his pass rushing arc out wide around the QB if they can get their hands on him unless he learns some damn good pass rushing moves to cut back inside. But that's just me.

I think he would be able to get inside, but at KC i wouldn't have him starting right away, I'd kind of develop him like Houston did. But you could turn out to be right.

Shazier simply fits what a lot of teams need in the NFL today. I think he could play every LB position in any scheme. I project him as an OLB in New England, which is essentially a 4-3 defense, with a lot of 3-4 hybrid type looks. If he can put on 10 to 15 pounds, then I see no reason why he cant be an OLB in a 3-4. His pass rushing skills are very much underrated, simply because his coverage skills are unreal. The reason I really like Shazier is because of his rare combination of football IQ and athleticism. The combination of Hernandez and Gronkowski really changed modern day offenses. Everyone wants to have some sort of system like this. Very few CB's are physical and big enough to defend these "move" TE's and very few LB's are fast enough. I think Jamie Collins is one of the few LB's in the league who can do this. Browner is one of the few corners who I think matches up against the TE very well. I would be thrilled if we could get Shazier, and have 3 guys who could really shut down these type of players.

patriotsk1dMosley will never happen for the Giants. They don't like going LB as it is, and they will take a high player on their board. Mosley is not even great value at 12. They would easily take Martin or Barr over him.
