I would not mind Jackson being out of PHI. I hate Jackson, but he always destroys the Giants. Why the hate? I just do not like the way he conducts himself. Hell of a player, though. But not someone I want on my team.

Just reported that if they can't trade him the Eagles are willing to release him. I just can't see it. The Eagles are definitely handling this situation very bad....IF this media speculation is correct. Which I think its crap and rumors. It ain't crap and rumors. People closest to him (supposedly) said he's not gonna be there. So I gotta believe what Goose is saying as well.

]Until I see the trade announced or chip/desean say its a foregone conclusion I do not read into the media hype. Well, I'd like not to believe it myself. And from all I've read D-Jax is disturbed by this and doesn't want to leave. But to me, it's more than media hype at this point. Like too many teams interested that can afford him, and convinced Kelly can't stand him. I hate it as you do, and hoping it won't happen.

Jackson, with his huge contract, likely won't go to a contender. All the "contenders" have spent their money in free agency, well, save for maybe San Fran.
Imo, what this means is Jackson's contract will likely be picked up by a mediocre or bad team, much like Mike Wallace signing with Miami...where he gets to live out the rest of his career quietly and irrelevantly in sunny Miami.
The Bills have the cap space, and the draft picks to trade for Jackson, but I doubt he'd want to come play in Buffalo while EJ Manuel learns how to play the position of quarterback.

What really happened in Philadelphia:
DeSean Jackson: Hey coach, you gotta' listen to my rap album. Finally finished it up! (Jackson hands Chip Kelly a pair of headphones, and Kelly listens for about a minute) (Kelly immediately takes out his phone and starts calling somebody) DeSean Jackson: Wow! You like it that much?! Who you callin'? Chip Kelly: Mr. Lurie. Yeah, sorry DeSean, there's no way we're paying $10 million a year for a wide receiver who puts out this kind of garbage. Hopefully the Jets will take YOU too.

Well, Jackson wouldn't have a say, would he? The Eagles are listening to any and all offers. And considering what they're asking for him, an inflated contract AND a 3rd round pick, the Bills might be their only offer. Of course, they're not expecting to get that pick, amidst rumors that they'd cut him anyway, which is likely untrue. It would make no sense, getting NO draft picks, and still on the hook for much of his contract anyway. All good points though. The team that's likely to go for him is mediocre in the first place partially cuz they didn't use their cap space (Raiders), or at least not effectively (Panthers). I think the Raiders used around half of it (!). Okay, NFL AM talked a lot about D-Jax, and said Calvin Johnson making just $5 mil. Didn't think that possible, so I looked here.... www.spotrac.com/nfl/detroit-lions/ Sure enough, he's making $16 mil. Even his guaranteed turned out to be AVG $9 mil, how rear-loaded could it be if he's only making $5 mil this year??? Then on another page... www.spotrac.com/rankings/nfl/wide-receiver/limit-25/ - Says he's making $5 mil this year, same as NFL AM said. Strange. Spotrac is usually up to date. I mean on that page, D-Jax is making $10.5, as expected. Most likely, I'm missing something.
