And Clinton-Dix will hold out unless he's drafted by Philly. Hes a huge Eagles fan...family all from Philly. Born to be an Eagle.

TE wont be priority before DT and Guard. I could see a TE in the 3rd-5th round, but not 1st or 2nd.

Mock 2.0 12/18/13
1. HOU - Teddy Bridgewater, QB, Louisville - Congrats Texans you suck again! Your prize, Teddy Bridgewater. Texans biggest flaw on their roster is QB, they don't have anyone at the position who can win games for them. Bridgewater should change that.
2. STL (via WAS)- Jake Mathews, OT, Texas A&M - IMO This pick won't actually happen, I think STL trades out of this spot and stock piles more picks. However if they do stay here they take the top player in the draft and one of their biggest needs.
3. JAC- Blake Bortles, QB, Central Florida - Jacksonvilles needs a play caller. They have tons of talent on their offense but they have nobody who can do anything with it. A good QB should go a long way to righting the ship and we all know Gabbert nor Henne is a good answer.
4. OAK- Jadaveon Clowney, DE, Southern Carolina - Could you imagine the kind of havoc Oaklands defense would cause with both Houston and Clowney rushing passers? I can! A good pass rush can make up for many short comings on a defense and at this point I think it is Oakland's best bet.
5. CLE- Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M - Bahh I don't like putting him this high as I see him as a 2nd round prospect at best.. However Cleveland is in need of QB, Manziel shows talent and play making ability I think Cleveland will be willing to take a shot on him.
6. ATL- Anthony Barr, DE/OLB, UCLA - Atlanta's defense sucks! I believe we can all agree with that. Barr in my eyes would play a Von Miller like roll for the falcons and I think he would go a long way to bolstering that defense.
7. TB - RaShede Hageman, DT, Minnesota - Tampa is a hard team to mock for. I see everyone giving them a WR when I really don't see WR as a very big need for them. They already have lots of money tied up in that position. I am gonna give them Hageman who I believe offers a very nice counter part to Gerald McCoy who has been a beast this year! No teams will want to face this DT duo. I believe Hageman will rise up the boards as the draft gets closer.
8. MIN- Derek Carr, QB, Fresno St - I don't believe there is much of a choice here for Minnesota. Their QB situation is brutal, and even though Cassel looked okish against the Eagles this week we all know he is inconsistent as balls! Carr is the pick here and hopefully he can take Minny and AP to the promise land.
9. TEN- Cyrus Kouandjio, OT, Alabama - Roos and Stewart are going to be free agents in 2014 and 2015, its never to early to start grooming their back up. Also those two will take up a pretty penny of the cap space, so it wouldn't be so bad to have a younger cheaper option to go with.
10. BUF- Khalil Mack, OLB/DE, Buffalo - Another player I picture playing the Von Miller OLB/DE Hybrid style which could really help Buffalo out, as they need both an OLB to pair with Alonso and another pass rusher across from Williams. Mack kinda kills two birds with one stone and is a local boy.
11. NYG- Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan - Manning is throwing a lot of pick. Some of them are on him, but a lot of them are on the fact that he can't sit in the pocket and throw. Lewan could be put at RT so they could bump Pugh in to guard. This would hopefully give them a strong right side of the line where they can hopefully pound the running game and give Manning an outlet from the pressure.
12. PIT- Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson - Pittsburgh needs another solid WR across from Brown to take some coverage off of him. Sanders does not command much more than single coverages and he is making Browns job a lot harder than it has to be. Watkins should be a guy to take some pressure off of Brown.
13. NYJ- Eric Ebron, TE, North Carolina - Geno may or may not be good, the jury is still out until he gets another year or two under his belt. However he has no targets or any offensive weapons to speak of really! One of the best targets you can get a young WR is a TE, Ebron being top TE on the board goes to the Jets!
14. STL- HaHa Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama - The Rams defense has been pretty solid this year, but one of the bigger holes in it is at their safety position. Dix should fill the spot nicely
15. DET- Darqueze Dennard, CB, Mich St - Detroit's secondary is awful. And Dennard should have been long gone by this point. Luckily for Detroit, in this mock he falls right into their laps!
16. DAL- Stephan Tuitt, DT/DE, Notre Dame - The Cowboys D is absolutely awful! They can't stop the run or pass, and a good DT should go a long way to solving that. Everyone blames Romo for the loss last weekend, but if his defense could have held he wouldn't have been in the situation he was in and they would have easily won.
17. SD - Louis Nix, NT, Notre Dame - SD has a few directions they could go, but I think brining in a good NT really improves their defense. Nix is a big upgrade from what is there now.
18. GB - Jace Amaro, TE, Texas Tech - Finely sucks! That is all..
19. MIA- Cameron Irving, OT, Florida St - Miami's offensive line is brutal. Martin likely won't be back, Incognito wont be back, Dallas Thomas was a shitty pick and Claybo is only a stop gap guy. This whole offseason should be dedicated to their O-line. Tannehill is the most hit QB in the league the last time I checked they need to protect him if they want to go anywhere! As well as it would be nice to see a running game!
20. ARI- Greg Robinson, OT, Auburn - Guy who has apparently been flying up draft boards as of late. This pick goes towards Arizona being a playoff contender next season. With Robinson upgrading the LT spot and Cooper hopefully being healthy, Palmer might actually have time to get the ball to some of the talent on his offense.
21. PHI- CJ Mosely, LB, Alabama - Philly has a lot of holes on their defense. Mosley is one of the best players left on the board and he fills one of those holes. Pick makes sense to me! With no safety to take without reaching I say Mosely is the smart choice here.
22. CHI- Aaron Donald, DT, Pittsburgh - Looking at the year this guy had I feel like he will fly up draft boards as soon as people see what he can do in the combine and his workouts. If the Bears can retain Melton then they give themselves one hell of a front 4 with Peppers, Melton and Donald.
23. BAL- Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M - Wow Baltimore lucks into a damn good player! Evans falls right into their laps and they walk away smiling. Giving Flacco a big target like this to go along with Smith, Pitta and Jones is all that offense needs to really come together.
24. CLE (via IND)- Marquise Lee, WR, USC - You've got your QB now you go out and get him some weapons. Josh Gordon is damn good but there are questions whether or not he will be able to play next season due to legal issues. Even if he does play this just gives Manziel more to work with, which for a young QB is never a bad thing. Gordan, Lee and Jordan gives a young QB a nice shiny set of tools to work with!
25. CIN- Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, CB, Oregon - Love the name! Cinncinatti needs to get younger at CB. Newman is old, Adam Jones isn't a kid anymore and Leon Hall has two torn achillies with not much gap between. CB is one of the few pressing needs this team has.
26. CAR- Brandon Cooks, WR, Oregon St - If he declares he is absolutely a first round WR in my books. Carolina has no other good WR's aside from Steve Smith who is coming to the end of his career. They need to get Newton someone to throw to!
27. SF - Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma St - SF has few glaring holes so they can pretty much do what they want here. They could use to get a little younger at the CB position so they get themselves a nice big corner in Gilbert.
28. KC - Devante Adams, WR, Fresno St - Alex Smith needs a weapon he can connect with. For whatever reason he doesn't seem to like utilizing Bowe.. A nice weapon like Adams could help their offense catch up with their defense.
29. NE - David Yankley, OG, Stanford - I really want to mock the Pats a TE, however the top two are off the board and I don't feel good about ASF at this point in the draft. So New England goes after another need and snag the top guard in the draft! Mankins isn't getting any younger and his replacement could be used sooner rather than later.
30. NO - Vic Beasley, OLB/DE, Clemson - I know, I know the Saints are up their in sacks, however at this junction of the draft there is no CB left that I feel good about giving them, as well as I don't feel the Saints have that many needs. It never hurts to have more good pass rushers around and Beasley is one of the top players left on the board so he ends up a Saint in this mock!
31. DEN - Trent Murphy, DE, Stanford - Denvers defense has been quite a let down this year. I believe it is largely to do with the decline of Champ Bailey and the loss of Elvis Dumerville. Denver is going to take the nations sack leader in college and play him across from Shaun Phillips, this should be a large upgrade from anything else they have.
32. SEA - Cyril Richardson, OG, Baylor - Seattle could use a guard, and would you look at that the second best guard in the draft is there sitting nicely for them to take! TBH Seattle can pretty much do what they want here as they are a team with little to no holes on their roster, they can afford to take the best available player. Luckily the best available players fills one of their little needs.

I like the Beasley pick. He would be really nice coming off the edge for us as a 3-4 OLB. And no team can ever have too much pass rushers! We are up in sacks like you said, and that is mostly due to Cam Jordan and Junior Galette. (and Galette plays the same position Beasley would)
Galette's future looks bright, but this is the first year he has really done anything, so who knows if he can keep it up. There have been tons of cases where players play really well one year, and then once teams figure them out, they never replicate that success. Hopefully that doesn't happen with Galette, but it doesn't hurt to have somebody in place like Beasley just in case Galette is a one year wonder.

Even if Galette isn't a one year wonder and comes out to play, its nice to have a 3 man rotation at OLB/DE Where you rotate guys as they get tired. The Riders implemented that this year and our team was 2nd in the league in sacks. No one guy overly stood out but because none were ever tired we got consistent pressure all year long. I would rather mock them something other than OLB, but at that point in the draft nothing seemed to fit better than Beasley did.

Well Sean Payton decided to bench Charles Brown, and we are starting our 2013 3rd round pick, LT Terron Armstead this Sunday @carolina. So if he doesn't impress/show promise, I think it's likely we will go left tackle in the first round. Btw, I don't think we need a CB anymore, to be honest. Keenan Lewis has been a top 10 CB this year according to PFF, and Corey White is showing tons of potential. I think we will/should move forward with White as the second cornerback opposite of Lewis. I think the Saints do have problems in the secondary, but only at FS. Malcolm Jenkins is awful. If Ha'Sean Clinton-Dix is available at our pick, that would be perfect. I don't know how realistic that is though.

Rothlisberger would likely pull a craig440 and cream his pants However I am not sure with Steelers cap situation and the likely loss of some of their older defensive players if Watkins will be the pick anymore.. Steelers secondary really needs some upgrades..

Heck if the Steelers keep winning and some how get in the playoffs, they may end up settling for Dennard ...maybe Ha'Ha depending on where they end up picking. Jace Amaro could work as well or ASJ depending on high he rises, they need someone when Miller is no longer with the team in the future. The cap situation should be slowly fixed as long as veterans keep retiring or being cut, things should be better once they cut Woodley in 2015. So much for a top 10 pick... Ha
