Trade the chiefs for Albert.
There is next to no chance the giants draft two linebackers in the first three rounds. You've said it before. They just don't draft or value LBs.

Giants do not need a tackle. If Pugh was not holding up, then we would have something to talk about, but that is not the case. I think Reese realizes he screwed up, as the Giants trade for Beason was their first mid-season trade since 1987. It would not surprise me to see some LBs picked in the draft, TBH.

I thought Pittsburgh had problems with the offensive line, at present the Giants offensive line is getting Eli killed.
I don't think the HC is the problem there's only so much TOM can do, the rest is up to the players. Eli is not the problem, when given protection he can and has got the job done. I agree the OC maybe part of the problem, but it's more the health of the offensive line that's hurting the Giants. Maybe it is time for a new OC.
On the defense some players are not healthy, and as a group they are not playing at the level they should be. Is that the DC's fault? I'd say no it has more to do with the offense and it's inability to put any long drives together. The defense is on the field too much and is not being given any time to recover before they have to go right back on the field.
The bright spot in all this is no one has really taken a firm hold of the NFC East. There's still time for the Giants to turn this around, but it must start doing it now or the season will be lost.

However, there are some things that have to be looked at, particularly at the rest of the division. Dallas leads with a 2-2 record, and the Skins and Eagles are both 1-3. So the Giants, through 4 weeks, are only 2 games back. Dallas has shown to be the team they were the past couple of years - capable, but they blow it. Washington has no defense, and they have seemed to completely abandon the option, which may showcase that Griffin is STILL hurt. And Philly is literally "defenseless", as Stephen A. Smith called it. The Giants have their own problems, as stated above, but it is definitely not a stretch to think they can get back in this thing. Here is the Giants remaining schedule for the 2013 season: WK5 - vs Philadelphia WK6 - @ Chicago WK7 - vs Minnesota WK8 - @ Philadelphia WK9 - BYE WK10 - vs Oakland WK11 - vs Green Bay WK12 - vs Dallas WK13 - @ Washington WK14 - @ San Diego WK15 - vs Seattle WK16 - @ Detroit WK17 - vs Washington It is very possible that an 8-8 record can win the division, and to accomplish that, the Giants must win 2 out of every 3 games on the remaining schedule. The Giants have only played one division game thus far, so if they can get through 4 or so division games, they are looking good in that department. Minnesota has had their share of troubles, as has Oakland. The Giants have had Green Bay's number the past couple of years, as well. My opinion: I think we get a win vs Philadelphia next week, but will lose to Chicago on s short week. Then we will beat Minnesota, and lose to Philly heading into the bye week. Coming out of the bye, I see a win vs Oakland, but a loss vs Green Bay. Do not see Dallas sweeping us, so I see us beating them, but then lose to Washington the next week. Not sure about San Diego, but I will say that we get out of there with a comeback win. Seattle, though not at home, should have their way with us. Cannot see us stopping Bush, so a loss with DET, and we win the season ending game at home against Washington. I think your projs for rest of season are quite reasonable, in fact kinda spot on, especially for a homer. What's a little worrisome is that RG3 should be close to 100% by week 8, their first meeting. TBH, I feel their make or break will come tomorrow w/the Eagles. Your main saving grace is the weakness of the division. If you go 1-4, it not insurmountable. Hell, remember the Seahawks squeaked in with a 7-9 a couple years ago. A stretch, but I don't any team in the NFC East doing better than 9-7 maybe even 8-8. Totally up for grabs. But 0-5 would be point of no return, IMO. And I don't see any team getting a wild card in that division. I see those going to the NFC South (ATL, Saints wins), NFC West (SEA or SF), AFC West (KC), and AFC South maybe (HOU or Indy?). NFC North could easily get in too. We have the Bears and Lions at 3-1. 1-2 Pack, well we now that will get a lot better fast. But they could edge out the NFC South with ATL 1-3, but still way too early to tell. Couldn't guess what to do in the off-season. College ain't done, much less the Combine, pro days, etc. Oh plaxy.....ill keep my thoughts and facts to myself here. You know my take. Eli top ten......fuckin LAFF...not even top 20 right now Oh god, Eagle found the Giants thread. LOL.
