You all make me LAFF. Chargers will run the table on your division. Heck the Raiders will even beat most of ya. But we get no respect. Do I see an avatar bet here? Chargers vs Giants? baaaaaaaaaahaaaaahaa. You won't take that will ya? We are getting better every week and you are going down hill.
I only wish we could play you twice a year.

Eli would net a pair of 1sts if he hit the block. There is zero doubt in my mind about that.
And how can you say the Alex Smith trade 'wasn't a good deal' ?
1) it's too early to know. 2) dude is 4-0.

I've heard Clowney isn't doing so good. No? He still considered the beast of the beasts?

I've heard Clowney isn't doing so good. No? He still considered the beast of the beasts? Not doing great, statistically... But stats don't tell the story. bleacherreport.com/articles/1792266-jadeveon-clowney-doesnt-light-up-stat-sheet-but-hes-still-a-force-on-d

I think I know Jadeveon Clowney. He's that type of guy who is extremely good at something, but gets bored with things fast and loses motivation because of the repetition. He's very mature for his age physically and psychologically that he's just not excited to play football anymore and isn't having fun. That's why they say he appears out of shape... It's because he just doesn't care and has a very hard time working out for something that he isn't passionate for anymore. Jadeveon Clowney is so athletically gifted, that he doesn't really have to try very hard and put much effort into his game at the college level... Even without working out very hard he can still play at a very good level.
I think Clowney will probably end up being a disappointment for this reason. Clowney's a risk to draft in my opinion, just because I think he's going to come into the league, work out hard/study hard at the beginning because he'll be temporarily excited and everything. Heck, he might have a really, really good rookie season. But then after his first season or so, the excitement will wear off and he'll go back to his former self and remember that he doesn't enjoy playing the game very much, and his work ethic will go down, and he won't be the dominant once in a generation DE that everybody thought him out to be.
For this reason, I would not draft Clowney in the top 10.. I'd seriously not draft him until mid 1st RD. Like I said, I think he could have a great first year or two, but I am pretty damn confident that his production will decline rapidly afterwards just because he only cares about the money and loses his passion for the game again.
No I'm not a fortuneteller, I'm speaking from personal experiences.

Anthony Barr CJ Mosley Ryan Shazier Khalil Mack Kyle Van Noy Adrian Hubbard Christian Jones Yawin Smallwood AJ Johnson
===
GIVE ME ALL OF THEM!
In all seriousness though, these are all guys that can go in the 1st or 2nd round (possibly 3rd) of the draft. We HAVE to nab two of these guys.
This is a great defensive class, and the Giants need defensive playmakers, so they must take advantage of it.
