have been overturned. They can start week 1. They didn't say anything about Sean Payton, it's just breaking now. NFL Network interrupted their regularly scheduled program to report it, more developments later
Update: Well, 3 if you count Scott Fajita, 4 if FA Anthony Hargrove. They can start week 1. Just breaking now. NFL Network interrupted their regularly scheduled program to report it, more developments later.
*****Oops, update... just broke 3:57...
"While the suspensions are vacated immediately, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell can go back and suspend the players if he proves there was an intent to injure.
Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma was suspended for the entire 2012 regular season, free agent Anthony Hargrove for eight games, Saints defensive end Will Smith for four games and Cleveland Browns linebacker Scott Fujita three games.
The suspensions of Williams, coach Sean Payton (season-long suspension), general manager Mickey Loomis (eight games) and assistant head coach Joe Vitt (six games) were not involved in this appeals process."

Goodell just lost any power and integrity he had left. He just opened the door for all players to walk all over him. Maybe James Harrison should try and get the $125K back that he sent to Goodell because of the fines.

Also, maybe Ben Roethlisberger should try and get some compensation for the 4 games he was suspended because there was no proof that he did anything.

I saw MO's thread about Vilma before this one and couldn't for the life of me figure out why he would be so excited about him playing a different position a whole year from now! Hahaha that is funny.
