Chargers will make a big comeback. 11-5. They will lose on the road to KC, Oak, Den, Panthers, and Falcons. Go 8-0 at home. It is about time that you recognize the greatness of the Dirty Bird sir............. Well since I'm always wrong, we will probably beat your birdies.

On Thursday, April 14th, the NFL released the 2016 regular season schedule. With that, fans from every team started predicting their teams records. While predicting records in April makes as much sense as doing your fantasy football draft before the preseason kicks off (seriously, the Draft hasn't happened yet you swine), I broke out the blue Kool-aid and decided to look at schedule. Plus there is no other significant Lions news right now and I'm bored. Without further ado:
Week 1- 9/11/16, Sunday, 4:25 p.m., @ Indianapolis Colts- W After posting three consecutive seasons of 11-5, they finished 8-8 last season. Andrew Luck was limited to seven games last year and threw 15 touchdowns. Whats concerning about Luck is how prone he is to turnovers, throwing 12 interceptions in those seven games. The defense ranked in the bottom half of the league in every major category last season and has been a weakness of the team since Peyton Manning was playing quarterback. I trust the Lions defense to stop the Colts offense more than I trust the Colts defense to be able to stop the Lions offense, and for that reason I have the Lions winning 28-21.
Week 2- 9/18/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., Tennessee Titans- W This game's outcome is fully dependent on the development of Titan's quarterback, Marcus Mariota. The Lions have typically struggled to contain quarterbacks that can run and if Mariota can take advantage of that, then this game probably goes to the Titans. The game is at home for the Lions and because its such a toss up, I'll give the Lions the edge because of home field advantage. Lions win 24-20.
Week 3- 9/25/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ Green Bay Packers- L Pros- The Lions finally won at Lambeau Field last season. Early season game so the weather shouldn't be a factor. Cons- Aaron Freaking Rodgers. Packers win 35-21
Week 4- 10/2/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ Chicago Bears- W Jay Cutler is still the quarterback. Lions win 31-14
Week 5- 10/9/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., Philadelphia Eagles- W New coach, and Chip Kelly did a good job of getting rid of most of the talent before he was fired. Lions win 27-7
Week 6- 10/16/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., LA Rams- W Don't know much about the Rams besides the fact they will most likely be starting a rookie quarterback from a draft class that is weak at quarterback. Lions win 21-3
Week 7- 10/23/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., Washington Redskins- L Kurt Cousins homecoming. Cousins might be a one year wonder but I think he'll continue his success from last year. Redskins win 31-24
Week 8- 10/30/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ Houston Texas- W JJ Watt is a beast. Quarterback is a ? mark for the team. Lions win 14-10
Week 9- 11/6/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ Minnesota Vikings- L I think Teddy Bridgewater is the real deal. Adrian Peterson IS the real deal. Vikings win 28-16
Week 10 Bye Week 11- 11/20/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., Jacksonville Jaguars- L The Jaguars will surprise everyone and make it to the playoffs. Seriously, Blake Bortles, Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns, T.J Yeldon, and Julius Thomas will light up opponents this season. Jaguars win 42-35
Week 12- 11/24/16, Thursday, 12:45 p.m., Minnesota Vikings- L Vikings on Thanksgiving! The four day period between the Jags and Vikings is going to hurt the Lions. Vikings win 31-17
Week 13- 12/4/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ New Orleans Saints- L Since Peyton has retired, has Father Time turned his sights on Drew Brees? Like the Titans game, this one is a toss up and goes to the Saints for home field advantage. Saints win 21-17
Week 14- 12/11/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., Chicago Bears- W See week 4. Lions win 38-14
Week 15- 12/18/16, Sunday, 1 p.m., @ New York Giants- W The Redskins are the only team from the NFC East to be scared of. Lions win 17-10
Week 16- 12/26/16, Monday, 8:30 p.m., @ Dallas Cowboys- W The Lions and Cowboys always have entertaining games. Lions defense will contain the Cowboys offense better than the Cowboys defense will contain the Lions offense. Lions win 35-21
Week 17- 1/1/17, Sunday, 1 p.m., Green Bay Packers- W Hopefully the Lions will be playing for a playoff spot. Toss up. Lions home field advantage. Lions win 21-10
Final Record: 10-6
This really is a crap shoot. We can't know how teams will do during the season in the middle of the season much less the middle of April. Who would have thought the Panthers would be in the Super Bowl, or that the Lions would have finished 7-9 after starting the season 1-7? I'll be doing this again towards the end of the preseason when we have a better idea of the players that will be on the roster.

Inoccent I called the Panthers making the NFCCG but I lose that credit for saying that the Saints would win the SB...

But there's no reason Philly can't win the east with Goff You could be right I guess, but all the talking heads are saying the Rams are without a doubt going with Goff, and that's why the Eagles traded up. I think Goff's the more ready prospect.

Saints will probably have another 7 win season unless they have a good draft (unlike last years shitty one) and learn how to play defense
