did your dad get a stint? They aren't positive that I will get one until they get in there. He said possibly will need surgery, but he doubts it. I have Nitro Glyseran patch. weeeee
I have smart phone but I was busy all day taking tests. It's amazing how many tests they have.

Glad to hear probably no surgery. Yeah Craig, better rest up before the Super Bowl. You'll need all your strength to cope with the Broncos winning it all. Danny's been worried sick with what he suspects are heart issues, chest pressure that comes and goes. Takes a month for the cardio appt. I told him he should always carry pure aspirins (bottle of water too), and prepare to chew 2 of them at the first sign of trouble. Turns out my brother agreed, but said to chew 6. Anyway Danny says to me, "Yeah, Doctor [primary] said I should start taking baby aspirin, I forgot all about it". You believe it?!?
Way past my bedtime. My bro is a night owl. Hope you're home soon. If not, least you'll have the Pro Bowl to tide you over hopefully.

I learned a big lesson.Do not I mean DO Not ignore the chest pain. Mine came and went also for months. If you walk into the emergency room like I did and tell them you have chest pain you get right in. They gave me four baby asprins, EKG, and took blood. The blood showed a raised enzyme level of some kind. Normal level is zero anything more is damaging your heart. I have a permanent damaged area now because I thought I was superman and ignored it. Tell Danny I said to go to hospital and go now. Even if the pain/pressure has stopped. What I would give to have it to over.
Carrying the asprin is what I did also. All you are doing is waiting to damage your heart before you go. A STUPID way of thinking, because you are going to go sooner or later. Best to be sooner. Well I go to my procedure in three hours, I want to go home so bad. I miss my dog haha

4 baby aspirin (87 mg) = 1 regular (350). They mght do that in the hospital, when you're walking around Target when it happens, you wanna chew good b4 swallow, a good 3 or 4 or more, because that could make a huge difference. Not the time to give a f*** about a little stomach irritation.
Thanks for the tip, I'll talk to Danny when I get home this afternoon. He'd not been having real pain, just weird pressure and a little tired/weak. Could be a good idea to just go to the hospital, and try not to grossly exaggerate the symptoms, which in his case, as you know are many and vary from day to week to month to year.
Good luck this afternoon. Do they knock you out for that? Can you go home today if all looks good enough for now???

Weird pressure. Tired weak comes and goes. boy does that sound familiar. It's funny to listen to you and remember the denial I was in. 'Oh its nothing, it will go away" I thought.
No I don't go home until at least tomorrow. They don't knock me out they use a local and just make me happy. I think I can watch on the screen.

Hope the test went well and you're home soon too. Call if you're just that bored and lonely. But the locals usually make you happy?

Yesterday. I thought I would just get a stint or two and a rest a day or so and be on my way.
When they put in the cathaterization thingy they found the right and left arterys were plugged. Luckily Dr. Lin was at the hospital. They got him and he took over. He is now my best friend as he saved my life. He took a power saw and cut down the center of my rib cage. Took veins out of my leg from my upper thigh all the way to almost my ankle. Spread my rib cage open and put the veins in (by pass). I have really good drugs right now or I wouldnt beable to stand it.
I can't get up by myself. I can't drive for two months. I will not be able to do much for abourt seven eight months. Once I heal I will be like new. Better than I was before the opperation. I was getting tired and short of breath, I will be superman in about a year.
The people at Grossmont hospital all say Dr. Lin is the best. I believe it. He is the man. (he says I am the ma. He says I should have died but didn't)

Good Great morning!!! So the operation went perfect. We're gonna have to start calling you Craig Newton. Did you get that nice peace sign scar? You probably haven't seen it yet, they don't wanna give you another heart attack. lol Thank God they caught it in time, and you were in a good hospital w/the best doctor who was ready immediately. Better than waiting overnight worrying to death, no pun intended. You are indeed a lucky man. I'm no doctor, but gotta think the bypass, if all goes well and it did, is better than a stint, right? So when you going home to drive Marlene crazy? Is she a good cook? Good driver? haha Guess we'll be seeing more of you here. Oh, btw, those drugs... I think they're helping you spell better.
