I meant collectively as opposed to/against the NFC west. You did notice the Eagles wont have a starting QB for 8 weeks didn't you? 3-5 should be generous without a supposedly good starter out.
Do you really think Foles is even marginally better than Sanchez? Many Eagles fans have been calling for Sanchez since the preseason. I have defended Foles thru and thru because I want him to succeed, but I am really questioning if Foles ever starts another game for Philly. Demeco Ryans being hurt does hurt our D significantly. 3-5 is possible...but please dont think that 5-3 or even 6-2 is out of reach.
if the NFL wants it to be out of reach, it will be. But they'll make it look good in the process.

Do you think that the Cardinals demise and the 49ers rise will start this week? Do you think that the 49ers will beat the Saints at the Louisiana Superdome? And that the Cardinals will lose to the Rams?
I think by thanks Giving you'll be singing a different tune then you are now. Go look at some teams schedule-records on espn the last couple years and see some examples of teams you thought were good or bad and the second 8 games are a row of red L's or green W's you didn't expect. that said, you people are basically hypocrites in your thinking. The NFL tells you "anything can happen" and you of course believe it ( even though intellectually its a false statement and doesn't apply any where else in life) a team goes to and loses 4 super bowls in a row. 2 brothers go to 5 super bowls in 8 years on 3 separate teams and you believe that but of course what I'm saying couldn't possibly happen and you don't believe that.....right ? so, you think I'm being ridiculous but you believe al the other past crap ?

You keep talking about how impossible it would be for any of the outcomes to happen, but that just shows that you really don't understand probabilities. There are so many possibilities of things that could happen with story lines that regardless of what happens, it is a highly improbable outcome. It's like winning the lottery. The odds of winning are so insanely small, yet every week someone defies the odds and wins, because there has to be a winner. The same can be said for football. That link you posted on the other thread just lead to one conclusion: there is nothing legally preventing the leagues to fix matches. But again, if there was any level of match fixing or scripting, it would have leaked at some point. Not everyone involved stands to make millions of dollars by being a part of it and someone of the thousands who would have to be involved each year would have said something at least once. But I wouldn't expect you to think rationally about anything... But I bet you could rock an aluminum foil hat like a champ. gobolts25 Sorry for feeding the troll again. this statement has nothing to do with the NFL and Premeditated outcomes. the odds are not small that someone will win because someone does win. the small part is that person getting all the numbers that randomly show up in a machine.
if the NFL was like the lottery then there should be much less chance of the outcomes happening that have happened. |

If there was a different winner every year, you would think it's fixed. Anytime a team repeats or wins multiple times in an era, it seems fixed. If a team doesn't win for a long time it seems fixed. Brothers, cousins, friends, fathers and sons... There are countless possibilities of story lines and every year is going to have something worth talking about. The fact that you are too stupid to comprehend that unlikely odds don't make something impossible is your own problem and makes you look more and more like an idiot every time you type something. You are just pulling all of this out of your ass. I could come up with endless different possibilities that could have happened that are far less likely than what has happened. Maybe it's my clear lack of intelligence but I don't understand why the Bills going to 4 Super Bowls is so impossible. They were a very good team in a fairly medicore AFC. Is every sport rigged? The Olympics? College Basketball? What are the odds of a college basketball team winning 10 in a row? Did Rupp take a dive?  What are the odds that a father and son would both be presidents of the United States? Well we already knew that was rigged. You never answered me what the odds were on two brothers being very good punters and divisional rivals in the NFL. I thought it was a sincere question.  |
