baaaaaahaaahaa I had not read any of this thread until now and I only read a few pages. Sounds like me after the Charger game Thursday. Of course I had had a few beers and was upset with the game. I think there are way to many players to have it predetermined. The Refs could be in on it maybe, but some players would blab. Oh kind of like Eric Allen did. Said the Chargers would never win a super bowl as long as Spanos owned them. Said the NFL would not allow it. Eric Allen is a smart man who played for a great franchise...he knows what hes talkin bout. He's from San Diego and lives here again. He's a friend of a friend and my friend said that is what he said.

speaking of flawed logic this statement means nothing. where is the sports science that says they were the only good team? that's just a dumb ass remark. yeah right, the nfl is full of the best athletes ever but for a 4 year stretch every player and every team sucked and they were the only ones with the magic? are you seriously that dumb ? come on, think harder.
the fact is that now the steelers are a very popular team. The 4 super bowls made sure the nation is now indoctrinated to love them. They always have winning seasons now. The Rooney's and the Mara's always get their way and the stupid fan calls it winning tradition and somehow the karma cloud of winning never leaves them. They keep cycling to championships while the rest of the NFL scrambles for 3rd and 4th place.
Patriots = R. Kraft, follow the money This could be the most logical thing I've seen so far. Money talks. However - While I won't go so far as to say EVERYTHING is predetermined or scripted (as far as game results are concerned), of course there are times where things appear to have been rigged. It doesn't necessarily make them so. The argument on the four consecutive SB appearances (being rigged by the league for some reason) by Buffalo is not logical, because the previous argument of "big markets and popular teams" were the ones that were fitted for rigging, you know to make sure those teams WON...kinda contradicts it. If people remember, Buffalo became a BANDWAGON team for anyone not in Buffalo (or from there) at the time, just as most successful teams do. Teams are more popular if they're winning. It's always been like that, so to say the league was making a push for a certain team - again wouldn't make much sense - if your target was Buffalo. Not a BIG market, obviously. The Raiders were actually much more popular at the time, had a bigger market, were pretty good (were in the playoffs routinely at the time) and had HISTORY. Sure there was Big Al, but that would be a team that was much more likely to have a push behind them. Or Cleveland, who had heartbreak after heartbreak in the playoffs, and a town that is DYING to have a winner. Wouldn't that have been more likely? Maybe Buffalo deserves the credit they EARNED, and was just the best AFC team at the time. Also, in reference to the earlier statement, there weren't 30 teams in the league when Buffalo went to four consecutive SBs. Interesting conversation, nonetheless.

Why is this thread still going? Some of us played with those troll dolls as children, and this thread is a form of nostalgia for us. It's cool to pretend the guy wasn't spinning your wheels. Continue to live your life in denial.
See. I know what your all about. Me making a comment about him trolling you damaged your ego. No one can tell the mighty Saska that he is being outsmarted! And you thought (or maybe still do), think that ram29jackson is me, so it made you even angrier. So now you're trying to play it off like it never bothered you even though we all know (at least I do), that you were pissed.
You got outsmarted by some random troll. You don't have to admit it but I saw what I saw. It's ok Saska, it won't be the first time (it hasn't for that matter) and it won't be the last. Life lessons.

lol I never thought he was you personally. Seemed like an intelligent troll. And your logic is flawed. How can you think you saved anyone from being trolled by a fellow, when nearly every reply to him has been after you posted "saving" us from this troll? And you replying to him more than anyone. You still mad Saska tore you a new one and shammed you hard?

I used to think you were an alright guy on here. Since you've come back though, you've been acting holier than thou, talking condescendingly towards other posters. There's a lot of people I don't like here but I won't call them out on a thread. I've lost a lot of respect for you in that one post. sent from your moms bed

Just be happy your Lions are doing good this season and stay out of things that don't pertain you. This is an A and B conversation, C your way out, son.

Do you think that the Cardinals demise and the 49ers rise will start this week? Do you think that the 49ers will beat the Saints at the Louisiana Superdome? And that the Cardinals will lose to the Rams?
