This is the most blatant showing of a Vegas dictating things I have seen in fifty years. Denver is the better team don't get me wrong. But they can molest our receivers and we can't touch theirs. We will beat the Broncos on a level playing field. yes I'm pissed. and anyone who does not see why is blind. I swear if this is the way is going to be played I quit. Didnt get to see the game, but I am not surprised you feel this way. I look at the other side of the ball and see Denver getting away with tons of illegal picks, yet LaFell has been called for OPI on 3 pick plays that were far less contact than what Denver does.

Looks like Wes had another big game, but yeah he isnt in the decline or anything, just a strange coincidence that his stats have dropped off significantly the last two seasons. Looks like we got the better, and cheaper slot receiver.

Wes (with DT, JT, and Sanders) Games played: 4 Recep: 17 Targets: 22 (77% completion percentage) Yards: 176 Avg. 10.4 Long: 39 TD: 1 First Downs: 9 Fumbles: 0 Fumbles lost: 0
Amendola (with Edelman, LaFell, and Gronk) Games played: 7 Recep: 5 Targets: 13 (38% completion percentage) Yards: 42 Avg. 8.4 Long: 19 TD: 1 First Downs: 3 Fumbles: 0 Fumbles lost: 0
Welker leads Dola in every major category, except for TDs in which they are tied. Objectively looking at the stats, Welker is having the better season so far.

Welker actually played 5 games (susp was cut to 2, remember?) but it took 7 weeks for Dola to get that TD, so Welker is kind of ahead. Patsy must be outta material, recycle mode. Welker had as many TDs last year (in 13 games) as Amendola's had in his 6 year career, if you can call it that. lol "Looks like we got the better, and cheaper slot receiver." So, < 1 catch a week is better than... He wasn't much cheaper either. WW $6 mil vs. DA $5.7 mil a year, except they gave Amendola a 5 yr contract. Inexplicable.

I was watching an episode of Monday Night Raw, I can't remember if it was last year or the year before, but it was being hosted in Omaha, and a fan in the crowd had a sign that said "PEYTON! PEYTON!" LOL love it... Romo! Romo!

The Pats didn't "get" edelman. They've had him for years. Comparing him to Welker would insane. Not that that stopped the Ammendola comparison of course.

Not that that stopped the Ammendola comparison of course. Why would that be insane? Aren't they both small slot WRs that play the same role in the Pats offense? People compare Dola directly to Welker because they signed Dola that year. But Edelman has been the one who took over the role.

You think no such thing, neither does anyone with a brain. Pats didn't say 'have', he said 'got' - the GOT Amendola. As in 'gotten at the same time'. Cheaper as in '6 vs. 5.7 mil. Slot receiver, as in duh...'Amendola'. Juggs, I wrote this before you even posted, so we and everyone else here (but 2) are on the same page. lol Busy watching NASCAR practice.
