NYG TE Larry Donnell plays fantasy football. He benched himself last week for Vernon Davis. haha. He said after the third TD "Really" I was LMAO when I heard this. It helped kill the pain-- cuz I benched him, too.

It's too early to say, but I think Donnell is a very real candidate for OPOY

Giants hitting their stride now. Odell Beckham Jr. looked GREAT out there. He was a big threat, catching 4 passes for 44 yards an a TD, not to mention he drew a big PI play, and on another play had his guy beat for a TD, but Eli couldn't put it where he wanted bc pressure got to him. Andre Williams, another Giants rookie, is also impressing, pounding his way for tough yards and helped seal the game at the end.
BIG next two games for us, PHI and DAL. Hopefully we can keep rolling and head into the bye 5-2.

"The game's officials would be wise to charter an immediate flight out of Nashville. Flags played a major role down the stretch as Jason McCourty's long interception return of an ill-advised Hoyer pass was wiped out by an illegal contact penalty on Tennessee's Brandon Harris. Madness ensued as a resulting scuffle generated personal fouls for Cleveland's Joe Thomas and Titans defender Derrick Morgan, the latter of whom was ejected.
The Browns also saw another potentially ugly turnover eliminated when Benjamin's fumbled punt return was overturned by a penalty on Marqueston Huff, who was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct."
You know it's bad when NFL.com acknowledges how shit the refs were. I've never seen an NFL.com article that focused on how bad the officiating was in a game before. I've never seen that. And it was bad. Did anyone else watch this game because I would love to be backed up on this. Those two plays mentioned decided the game. Both plays combined for between 24 and 28 point swings, depending on if you believe Tennessee could have got the ball in from the five yard line or not. If not it's 24, if they do it's 28. but that wouldn't matter in what came to be a 1 point game.
The call on brandon harris was the worst offender. Not only was harris on the other side of the field, he was in a cover 4 deep zone with no receiver within 10 yards of him. He contacted absolutely no one. And yet he was called for illegal contact and that turned what was a 65 yard INT return into a TD for the browns.
before that, marqueston huff got called for unsportsmanlike conduct on a punt that Browns WR Travis Benjamin muffed. I don't disagree with the roughness call on Huff, excpet here's the problem: it shouldn't affect the turnover call. The call wasn't in violation of a fair catch and was after the muff in the pile. That means that it's a 15 yard penalty on the titans, and we should have got the ball. Unsportsmanlike NEVER, I repeat NEVER, results in a re-punt. That call was factually wrong, and it cost the Titans the game.
On two different occasions, Jake locker was hit by late cheap shots and not a single penalty was called on cleveland for either hit. Both took locker off the field, once in a non-serious way, and the second late hit brought him out of the game for the second half, in what seemed like me to be an agenda by the Browns to take locker out of the game, as the two late hits happened right in a row, right after Locker scored 2 TDs going 6 for 6.
I am flabergasted by the officiating in this football game. After those two blatant incorrect calls, there were two challenges in a row where the refs seemed to take way more time looking at the Browns spot challenge, and ended up moving the ball almost two yards back on the Titans without even taking a measurement. And then the Titans challenged on the next play and the call was thrown out for not having enough evidence to overturn. That's hypocrisy and bad officiating. NFL.com is exactly right that that crew is not welcome back in Nashville because they just cost us a game.
