How could we let this Garbage team hang 40 on us??? It looks like another disaster of a season for the Falcons. They did not have Christian Ponder starting last game.

I thought it was a beautiful thing. I didn't mind it so much either, aside from nearly falling asleep in the 3rd quarter.

I know that, but one man should not make that much of a difference. Asiata and McKinnly ran all over the Falcons and did absolutely nothing against Green Bay.

If you don't think one player can change the entire dynamic of a game(when its a quarterback) well, I guess you don't watch enough NFL football.

Asiata and McKinnly ran all over the Falcons and did absolutely nothing against Green Bay. The Pack has a HISTORY of being especially receptive to opposing teams' RBs-- and is again LAST in rush yards allowed so far this season. BUT-- I saw a marked improvement in their pass rush thru the first four games (hello--Julius Peppers) and our secondary is second to none in defending the pass. So--- if we know you can't throw on us, we just need to stop your RB. That's what we did last night. Welcome to finally being relevant again Packer's D.

Alright: time for a speech.
My Titans looked really good to start the year. The media consistently shit on our team as they always do. ESPN projected us to go 1-15. We dominated Kansas City in an upset on the road. The Titans put up 26 in a row to take the lead 26-3 and the game was over with a few minutes left. The refs gave the Chiefs a touchdown, but otherwise, that game was 55 minutes of a shutout football game, in a home opener on the road. Locker played flawlessly. Delanie Walker impressed as he still is. The Titans held Jamaal Charles for 18 yards when he was healthy! Everything looked great going into Dallas.
Since then it has been the opposite. Our hard hitting Ray Horton defense has looked like it did under Gray and Munchak in 2012 when we had the worst pass D in the league. Jake Locker has been inconsistent. His arm talent has been fantastic at times. In the Dallas game he drilled a ball above Morris Claiborne for a Walker touchdown. He has also looked abysmal, missing drag routes and not getting passes off quick enough in the pocket. Our play calling has been questionable. Young superstar Bishop Sankey has been shackeled by Whisenhunt's insistent use of Shonn Greene and Dexter McCluster, neither of whom are terrible, but neither are Sankey either.
We lost a home game against Dallas we shouldn't have. We're a better team than they are. We weren't even competitive against Cincinatti and Indianapolis when both games could have been competitive based on talent levels of the team.
Now we have Cleveland. We can win! We are the better team and we're at home. We have a few winnable games before the bye, and if we do what we're supposed to do, we can be back in control of the division going into the bye. It's possible with Cleveland, Washington, Jacksonville, and Houston as our next four games. None of those games are guarantees, none ever are, but they're all winnable, and we should win all of them if we play anything CLOSE to we did like week 1.
There are a lot of story lines swirling around. I don't care about any of them. I don't care about QB play or our offense or defense or Rob Bironas or the Colts or the playoffs or anything else. I want to win! I want to feel how I did after we won the first game! I want to see the scoreboard show the Titans with more points than the Browns with no time left. That's what I want to see this week. There are no caveats. No matter how well we played in a loss or how badly in a win I don't care. I want a win, and if that happens, there is nothing that could ruin the Titans this week. GO TITANS.

NYG TE Larry Donnell plays fantasy football. He benched himself last week for Vernon Davis. haha. He said after the third TD "Really"
