I'm not sure if i'm the only one that keeps up with NASCAR tv ratings, but they are consistently down this year. Michigan got a 2.7 rating, which was about 4.2 mil (albeit NASCAR still beat the World Cup). www.jayski.com/news/pages/story/_/page/NASCAR-Televison-Ratings-2014 Not very good, and this was in a race after Dale Jr won. Any thoughts on what's wrong? Because the racing is pretty good. Is it the Chase? Lack of interest in racing? Bad broadcasting? Jimmie?

Nascar most definitely did not beat the world cup. I don't know what numbers he's got. But I assumed he meant it beat whatever game was Sunday afternoon. USAs Monday game was shockingly high.

Wait.. Was he talking just Michigan? Or USA? Or World? I assumed he meant USA, but then because he didn't specify I took it to be world.

Now, ratings are only including ESPN. Not NBC. And I don't think it includes people who watch it online even.

So, to be clear, if I want to get responses on a thread, insult soccer, cool, got it. Click on the link y'all. "NASCAR on TNT was the #4 program on cable and the top sporting event - topping all World Cup telecasts on ESPN." Yes, i'm talking about America, its implied, I don't care about what the world watches.

Yes, i'm talking about America, its implied, I don't care about what the world watches. I read it. after my first post. I've no idea why numbers are down. Maybe the World Cup did take some of the viewership. Or maybe like you said, blame Jimmie for being so good.
