Shit I hope Gilbert didn't just put his stock way ahead of the Steelers. He seems like a good Steeler DB. athleticism? Check. Good tackler? Check. Only problem I have is I don't know of what kind of experience he has in zone. Verrett looked pretty dang good as well. Fastest 40, Top 2 CB (Possibly number 1 depending who you ask?) Yeah. I doubt he drops to the Steelers sir. Clowney, Manziel, Matthews, Robinson, Bridgewater, Watkins, and Mack will all be taken before Gilbert most likely. Throw in Lewan, Evans, Ealy, Donald, and maybe Bortles, Ebron, Dennard, and Jernigan. The last group is about the same area as Gilbert, all depends on what the teams ahead needs are. The Lions, Rams, and maybe Bears could use CBs, the Lions are the biggest threat.

There will be plenty of talent on the board at 15 for the steelers you can count on that.

How did Nat Berhe do? CB from SDSU 15 reps 35.5 in vert 117 in broad jump 4.71 40 time 4.7 is pretty brutal for a CB.. Edit: The have him at safety on NFL.com. Also 4.71 is the slowest 40 out of any secondary player in the combine.. all in all not looking good for him..

I picked Gilbert at 10 way back when he was a late 1st rd-early 2nd in the community mock draft. Are my grades still B+ to D+ Robinson is your #2 overall player. I got him at 6. I got Gilbert at 10 (which I seriously think he will go there).

steelersfan4life56If the bench didn't matter. It wouldn't be included in the Combine.I do agree it may get valued too much...but it does matter. It just doesn't make sense. It focuses on only certain muscles, when you're blocking and extending with your arms against another player you're using a ton of muscles. I guess arm strength is important in some aspects but it's not a huge factor. Pushing and being able to over power a guy when your locked up is alot of shoulders and chest. Yes its not a huge factor, but it is a factor that's important to look at.

If Barr had only put up like 10, I'd be concerned, but 15 is enough for me.

Fun fact. Here are the Top 10 40-Yard Dashes of All Time.
1. Chris Johnson, 2008 - 4.24 Drafted by TEN 2t. Dri Archer, 2014 - 4.26 2t. Jerome Mathis, 2005 - 4.26 Drafted by HOU 4t. Tyrone Calico, 2003 - 4.27 Drafted by TEN 4t. Marquise Goodwin, 2013 - 4.27 Drafted by BUF 4t. Stanford Routt, 2005 - 4.27 Drafted by OAK 7t. Jacoby Ford, 2008 - 4.28 Drafted by OAK 7t. DeMarcus Van Dyke, 2011 - 4.28 Drafted by OAK 9. Fabian Washington, 2005 - 4.29 Drafted by OAK 10t. Darrius Heyward-Bey, 2009 - 4.30 Drafted by OAK 10t. Yamon Figurs, 2007 - 4.30 Drafted by TEN 10t. Tye Hill, 2006 - 4.30 Drafted by STL
Notice a pattern here? Tennessee and Oakland seem to be the teams that value the 40 Yard Dash the most. And most of those players are out of the league.

man, I remember when Routt came over to KC from Oakland. He was a surprising disappointment. Wonder if he's on a team now?
