So the Riders have made a few signings... Let's see if anyone here knows anything about these guys:
WR - Greg Hardin Hardin (5’11 – 175) joins the Green and White after spending four record breaking seasons at the University of North Dakota. Through 42 career collegiate games the Bellevue, Nebraska native registered 221 receptions for 3,583 yards and 32 touchdowns while also adding 52 kickoff returns for 1,360 yards and three touchdowns. He left as UND’s all-time leader in career receiving yards while also holding the Big Sky Conference single game receiving record with 333 yards. Last season, the 24-year-old attended training camp with the Denver Broncos, after signing with the team in May, where he played three preseason games.
I don't know anything about him. 999Bronco cantonhall34 Divebitch Do any of you remember him from training camp? I didn't follow our preseason much last year. Does anyone follow the Big Sky Conference much? Apparently he set a ton of records that Weston Dressler used to hold.
WR - Naaman Roosevelt 6’1 – 195) has signed with the Riders after spending the last five seasons in the National Football League. The Buffalo native originally signed with his hometown Buffalo Bills as an undrafted free agent in April, 2010. He spent three seasons with the Bills playing 16 regular season games where he registered 25 receptions for 396 yards and one touchdown while also adding two kickoff returns for 31 yards. The 27-year-old University of Buffalo product spent part of the 2013 season with the Cleveland Browns before signing with the Detroit Lions in April, 2014. He re-joined the Bills in July where he spent most of last season on their practice squad.

QB - Brett Smith (6’3 – 206) joins the Riders after spending three seasons at the University of Wyoming (2011-2013). Through his collegiate career the Oregon native completed 751 of 1,212 passes (62.0%) for 8,834 yards and a school record 76 touchdowns, while adding 378 rush attempts for 1,531 yards and 20 touchdowns. He was named the Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year after the 2011 season. The 22-year-old signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent in May, 2014 after leaving school early to pursue professional opportunities. He then signed with the Toronto Argonauts in July where he spent six weeks on the teams practice roster.
Anyone follow Wyoming or the MWC? craig440 I know you're an Aztecs fan, but you also don't follow college players too much, right?
LB - Phillip Steward (6’1 – 240) joins the Riders after spending four seasons at the University of Houston. The Texas native registered 378 defensive tackles, 40 tackles for loss, 14 quarterback sacks and 10 interceptions in 52 career collegiate games. The 23-year-old originally signed as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Rams where he attended 2014 training camp, seeing action in four preseason games.
LB - Eltoro Freeman (5’11 – 235) had previously signed as an undrafted free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in May, 2012 after spending three seasons at Auburn. While with the Tigers the Alabama native collected 126 defensive tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and five quarterback sacks in 34 collegiate games. He was a member of the 2011 BCS National Championship team. The 25-year-old was scouted while attending an NFL regional combine and subsequently invited to attend a recent Roughriders free agent camp.
I'm sure there are some people who know a thing or two about Auburn...
