A poor second half performance was the reason for this lost. Very well played first half, the passing game was dominate and we were able to run the ball. The Jets dline got lots of pressure in the second half and the offense couldnt move the ball. Another great final drive by Brady that tied the game, but unfortantly we couldnt get it done in overtime. A questionable call on the field goal, but by no means the reason we lost. We had a chance to go up by 18 at one point, and were up 11 at half time. Gronk almost made an amazing catch that likely wouldve resulted in a TD on the final drive, and we had the first possession in overtime. Too many chances to win the game, there was no reason for that game to even get to overtime.

Pats waive DT Andre Neblett.
Probably means Tommy Kelly is ready to go this week. It could also mean Armond Armstead is ready to play, or both.
The interior line hasnt struggled nearly as much as I expected them too with Wilfork and Kelly out. Joe Vellano and Chris Jones have both played very well. Kelly was playing as good if not better than Wilfork was this year, and it will be key to get him back.

Pats sign Andre Carter.
Hard to say what he has to offer. I have no idea how good he was last, but he was great 2 years ago.
This could mean that Michael Buchanan is going to lose snaps as a sub rusher, or that Nickovich could get some snaps at OLB, and Carter could replace his DE spot.
I would like to see Nickovich move back to OLB if Carter is effective enough as a pass rusher. He was a very good cover LB before he moved to DE 2 years ago.

Amendola returned to the practice field today, and will have a good chance of playing on Sunday. He has to go through one more concussion test to get cleared, but there is a good chance we will have all of our offensive weapons (except Shane vereen) on sunday.
And a correction, Steve Siliga was signed to our practice squad, he is a former member of Seattle's practice squad.

Amendola and Talib are both expected to play. It will be good to finally have all the receivers on the field at the same time. After the bye week there is a good chance we will have all of our weapons on the field.
Kelly and Washington are expected to miss at least one more week. With the bye week only 2 weeks away, I expect them to not return until week 11.

Amendola has been cleared to play. Talib unlikely to play based on recent reports. Kelly and Washington havent been ruled out yet, so they do have a really small chance to play.
The offense will almost be at full health. 2 more weeks and we will have Vereen back.
Expect to see Dennard and Logan as the 2 starting corners if Talib doesnt play. Arrington will play the nickel corner spot. We will likely see Mccourty play over the top on Wallace almost every play. Dennard has been very dominate this season, and Logan played last week when he got 60 snaps, after only playing 6 snaps in all of the 5 previous games.

Sebastian Vollmer had surgery today to repair a broken leg. His screams could be heard on tv Sunday. Know word yet on when/if he will return, but this is certainly another tough blow to a team that has already lost Wilfork and Mayo for the season.
Marcus Cannon and Will Svitek are certainly capable starters, but Vollmer is an all pro tackle, so still a significant downgrade.

Full attendance at practice every day this week. Everyone has a good chance of playing, although I wouldnt be shocked if Talib, Kelly, and Washington sit this one out. The bye week is next week so it wouldnt be a bad idea for those guys to sit out if they arnt at 100 percent.
Shane Vereen has practiced everyday this week and should be good to go when he is eligible to return after the bye. He add a much needed boost to our running and passing game.
