So what do yall think about the trees/water thing? Also, instead of just throwing in beast at random and controlling him..how about, just like in the trial, 1 person gets to be the 1 and only beast. He doesn't know where anyone is. But if he gets within a mile of someone, a host informs him where that person is, because it can smell him. If he encounters a person, if he kills them, he stops moving for that day and just eats. It still has starvation factor. But how would the fighting be done between the beast and a person? How would the beast win and how would the person win? I'm very open to the idea of the wild beast as long as it is referred to as the Plaxophile. It has high regeneration, 120 Physicality, 50 Speed, 0 Resourcefullness and Intelligence, but is almost impossible to kill unless fire is used. It has the tendency to stalk smaller framed players and might you use as heat in the cold nights.

How much do rolls play a factor in fights? There are currently 10 rolls of the dice for each player. The max + a person can get is +60, and the worst a person can get is only +10. Therefore you can go up +50 in physicallity during the fight.

Another excellent idea. It would be awesome for players who aren't fortunate enough to have medicine. There should be only 1 oasis though. I do not think I am going to add mountains because there isn't a huge difference between it and other terrains. So is there going to be a healing oasis in the desert or packages dropped there every once in a while? Healing oasis for sure, I think that idea is perfect. Items should probably be limited to the cornucopia.

@lab: Meh, there should be a map or there shouldn't be. Either no one knows where anything is, or everyone does. Realistically, no one will. But for the sake of the game, I think we should all have a map.

and if we do not start with a map, and if you find the mountain, you get a map of the entire field.
just an idea.

have a candyland in the corner of the map lol You shall be banned from coming up with any more ideas Lol, hey, nice idea for the mountain. You should be able to see for like 5 miles up there. It would help speed up the game.

Players should receive a base map that lets them know of the terrain but the Game Managers would know where certain predetermined events are in these areas. Forest Area F-4 might have poisonous berries, Desert Area C-9 might have a package, etc.

and if you are on the mountain, you may be able to see hidden gems that no one else would normally see while running around.

Terrain Pro's and Cons: This is what we have. I think this is good. These will be the descriptions I post on the registration and official thread. Any things I should change?
Cornucopia - The starting spot of the game where everyone begins. It is where all of the items and weapons are located and is in the center of the map.
Oasis - Best spot to be in the game because it will heal you by 50% every day and 50% every night you are there and occasionaly items are dropped here. It is surrounded by the deadly deserts though and is the 2nd hottest hotspot behind the cornucopia. Great reward, but huge risk.
Forest - The normal terrain in the game. There are no pros or cons.
Water - Fish can be hunted here which are the best source of food in the game.
Plains - The biggest animals are found here, which are a very good food source. However, you are very vulnerable in the plains and can be seen from 2 miles away.
Desert - There are no pros to a desert. You do not want to be here. You will lose food faster than imaginable, but sometimes a desert is neccessary to cross in order to get what you want/need to survive.
Mountain - Can see for 5 miles in all directions from you. Can also see items within 2 miles any direction from you. Very little food is present in the mountains though and food consumption is high.
Cave - Acts as a shelter in terms of weather immunity and allows you to recover slightly faster. Can also disguise yourself very well in a cave. Potential rewards may await contestants. However, it is a potential hotspot for combat between players and you have a very little chance to escape players/animals.
Swamp - More prone to contract diseases, face Venomous Animals, and slows down your movement through the landscape. Perks are better disguise, good material to build a shelter, and harvest venom.
