saskabronco - I asked you the other day if you knew much about Ron, you said you didn't. If you have a little time, you should watch the videos I posted if you want to know a bit about him. I mean, I love Rand...but he's no Ron. No one compares to Ron.

saskabronco - I asked you the other day if you knew much about Ron, you said you didn't. If you have a little time, you should watch the videos I posted if you want to know a bit about him. I mean, I love Rand...but he's no Ron. No one compares to Ron. I like him. I don't agree with him on everything, mainly getting government out of everything, because I think social programs and government spending can be very beneficial. I think it's better for a country to rely on an elected government to manage things like health care, education, infrastructure, etc., rather than relying on large corporations to do so. Government is supposed to represent the people and should be held accountable for such things, but corporations care only for their shareholders wallets. I think there is a serious problem with government corruption and politicians being bought by corporations, but that doesn't mean government is the problem, it means the system we currently use needs fixing. Getting rid of government is not the answer, in my opinion. But I have a ton of respect for Ron Paul. He has his convictions and stands by them. I agree strongly with him on issues like war and legalization of drugs/prostitution and I think his criticism of the Republican Party was spot on. They are supposed to be the party of conservatism, but they have become the party of spending in excess on wars (on terror, on drugs, etc..). There is a reason billionaires like Addleson and the Koch brothers roam the Republican side looking for a whipping boy to buy. The left isn't much better, mind you, but the right is most definitely worse. I see a lot of similarities between Ron and Bernie (with some glaring differences) in the way they present themselves, their record of consistent voting, their criticism of the way we do things today and in the way the media disregards them because these men speak out against all the things that make their owners filthy rich. So while I don't fully agree with him because he is still a right wing conservative and him and I differ greatly on certain points, he is by far the most intriguing republican candidate I have seen. He would be more likely to steal away my vote (and likely many, many others) from a sub par democratic candidate than anyone else I have ever seen. And I agree with you that Rand is like a mini-Ron. He seems to try to preach the same ideals, but then he also seems to have been somewhat tainted by the Republican Party and the absurdities that seem to go hand in hand with running for them lately.

Totally forgot there was a Democratic debate tonight. I'm such a bad citizen...
Go Bernie.

"here's a question for Americans to consider - why has Wall Street made up the greatest contribution to Hillary Clinton's campaigns?" -Bernie

Via Time Magazine 82% of debate viewers found Sanders to have done the best at this debate. Up from 78% in the last debate. 12% found that Clinton did the best 5% said so of O'malley.
Without a doubt, Sanders holds an unfair advantage in online polling since his base is younger and more likely to have a device on them. Still, that advantage isn't a 35 point advantage. He won this debate, and he won last time, and he did by basically the same margin. His ideas best resonate with democractic voters. The DNC needs to see that and nominate him. He is outpolling all republican candidates in heads-up contests. His margins in those contests are better than Clintons by a stunning 6% on average. Sanders is the people's choice.
If the DNC doesn't listen, then the white house is going to light up red next November.

Possibly the best political post on social media you will ever see. It shows how stupid it is to reject syrian immigrants, that anyone so stupid as the designer of this graphic would be on the same platform. If you don't get the joke... look at New England and think back to middle school geography.

This nonsense is still up and very popular on Ben Carson's facebook page. It has not been removed. Not one commentor that I can see pointed out the total failure of the map. I wonder what that says about people who post on the Carson campaign facebook wall!
