Maybe its because where I'm from. But we are so far evolved down here compared to America in terms of racism. I mean that shit would be laughable if put up in the public arena. When you think about any sports team that has a Maori name the fans and players wear it with pride.
I mean god help anybody that thinks the All Blacks is a racist name.
I'm White (Btw)

we may have went to the same school dive lol The 70's were rough. Crazy thing is I had to take a subway (they gave you a pass) to get there, while there was a great JHS I could walk to 4 blocks away, with no such issues. Believe it or not, I was just on the other side of the corner that would have sent me to that that school (!!!). And my dad owned an apt bldg in that district, so I could've went there (an electric bill). Chose to go to the bad one cuz my best friend was gonna be in my home room, according to our report cards. lol My mom (RIP) should've said no, but acquiessed to my wishes. But they didn't know how bad it was. But that's how messed up the NYC public school system was. Leave it up to 12 years olds to take public transportation (subway!!!) to get to school. Where did you grow up?

Maybe its for me, "Wog" White Old Guy. LOL.
I was called all kinds of names in Hawaii in the early seventy's. Didn't bother me one bit. I was eighteen though. What bothered me was when the Hawaiians would punch us. Happened a few times. But surfers do that to anyone in their local spot.
