Based on statistics, the most used s*xual position among married couples is doggy style... The husband sits and begs, while the wife rolls over and plays dead.

Were anyone else's Comp I and II classes (and intro to film/any other comp/lit type class) almost purely feminist propaganda?

lol
feminism is basically the modern alternative to fascism, but no, in my comp lit class right now, we haven't really talked about any feminist issues at all.
Our professor is a woman and most of the class are women as well, so it does sometimes come up in discussion. No doubt the members of the class are overwhelmingly feminist, but so are 95% of students on campus. We've read Juan Rulfo's "Tell them not to kill me", Ernest Hemingway's "Hills like White Elephants" (somewhat tangential to feminism I guess) and Judith Ortiz Cofer's "American History." One is all male characters, one features a straight relationship and is honestly somewhat misogynistic and one is about abortion, although the plot and themes are quite different from each other.
Granted, the class is "the international short story." Maybe we would learn more about feminism if this were comp lit I, but that's not a class at my school. You choose from different specialty courses related to literature.
Frankly, I wish I didn't have to take any literature courses. I don't enjoy them. I am only in this one since it satisfies a requirement to study art, by some odd logic.

I don't see how an college course can be propaganda. You're all adults, discuss and argue if you want. A specific set of ideas being presented isn't propaganda unless the students are children incapable of taking things with a grain of salt. Literature is an overwhelmingly female pursuit in America anyway, especially compared to other industries. Writers who advocate women's liberation do so through literature frequently and prominently. Ignoring this wouldn't make for a good class, and reading literature certainly doesn't make a lit class propaganda.

Its been a few days since my parlay bet but I still can't get over it. I hate Chicago and Oakland Can you explain this to me? Oh and my son put 100 dollars on the cubs to win the world series. You know why? Because in back to the future they went to 2015 and the Cubs had won. haha, Now thats a scientific bet. But guess what they are playing in the playoffs tonight. 42-1 odds he got. go Cubs.

craig440, I'm sure tonodank will get back with you on what his card, but since I'm here.. He bet on the Falcons to cover the 6.5 point spread, which they did. He bet on ATL/HOU to combined for more than 46.5 points; they did. He bet on OAK/CHI to combine for more than 44.5 points; they didn't. Browns to cover the 7.5 point spread; they did. Vikes to cover the 6.5 point spread; they did. Rams to cover the 6.5 point spread; they did as well. And for some reason that I'm not sure of, he's disappointed that only one didn't pan out. Maybe if he got them all correct, he'd win some kind of bonus cash? I dunno.
