Will go through a few draft guesses...
1
TRADE: Trade our top five first round pick for the Jets 1st & 2nd
1st round via Jets (7-15 pick range): Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan Gross hasn't been the same, he isn't a great player any more, just a above average. Our OL is a mess right now and needs change. Either ditch Gross or put him at RT and Byron Bell at RG. Either way, I want a new LT.
2nd round (#5ish): Sylvester Williams, NT, UNC We really need a NT, Ron Edwards is not the answer, and there is no way Fua is the answer, unless getting pancaked makes you a good NT. Sly Williams has been a force for the Tar Heels this year pass rushing and in the run game. The Tar Heels defense has 19th best defense against the run in the Nation, allowing 99 yards all year long.
2nd round via Jets (7-15ish): Tavon Austin, WR, WVU Smith is getting older, he said it himself he has two or three years left. So after this year he'll have one year left, we need a new #1 WR to take over for Smitty and learn from him this year. I feel pretty conifdent that LaFell is not going to be our #1 WR in the future.
Will do more later, feel free to add opinions/drafts of your own.

You'll freak out after you see what I am about to say, but I think Lewan is a little bit overrated right now.

I only picked him because you like him!!!! :/ Who's next best LT? Lol sorry. He has all-world potential, but his technique is a little sloppy, and he commits a lot of dumb penalties. Those are very fixable things though. Maybe I'm being too hard on him though. And the draft boards say Eric Fisher from Central Michigan is the next best, but I don't know if I buy that.. I know Dallas Thomas from Tennessee is a stud though.

Defensive line, I'm not too sure of being a big need anymore. Dwan Edwards is playing really well. Hardy and Johnson are playing well. We actually have one of the best pass rushing D line's in the league right now (ranked 7th in the league with an 8.1% sack rate on passing plays) according to Football Outsiders. Our only problem is run stopping (ranked 30th), so I don't really know how to judge that as a whole.
I'm not sure on the specific players, as I don't follow college football that extensively... but position wise, my opinion is in order:
Secondary - Literally anyone playing CB or FS. Godfrey and Gamble are the only ones in that secondary worth a damn, although Norman shows promise, but Gamble is getting up there in age and injuries could be a concern. But for god's sake, get Nakamura the fuck out of there and get someone who can actually play the safety position.
O Line - Panther, I agree what you said about Gross. He just isn't playing like a top LT anymore. If they are sticking with Cam past his rookie contract, he HAS to have an O line that can protect him.
WR - Smitty will be gone in the next 2-3 years and no one, not even Lafell, has been able to show they have what it takes to step in to that #1 role. Of course, that could also have to do with the play calling as well as Cam's decision making. The jury is still out right now.
DT - like I said, Dwan is playing much better than expected, but could also very well be a one year wonder. Need a backup plan just in case. Hardy and Johnson are fine, plus Applewhite backing them up. No DE needed, IMO.

Dwan Edwards is a FA next year and is too old. (31 yo) He's been really good, but I don't think he'll be really good for much longer, even if he comes back next year.
I agree, no need at DE. Hardy or Alexander will be starting opposite of CJ.
I think we give Norman a little time before giving up on him and drafting a new CB. Maybe the next draft we pick one to replace Gamble/start opposite of Norman.
I want the best S on the board, SS or FS. We can move Godfrey to FS if we need to, just keep Sherrod Martin and Haruki Nakamura OFF THE FIELD.
Also think we might need a Guard if Silatolu doesn't improve and throw him in to replace Hangartner.
