I don't know if a thread is warranted for this. I could easily just message you. Let me say that in the last week when I was attempting to broker a truce between the two of us, I meant it. I'll probably always be a dick and talk shit about the Patriots and bring up controversial issues about them. You can hate me, and that's fine. I'll say this: just because you're a fan of a team that I hold in discontent, I don't hold that against YOU. I think that may have been a reason I've been going at it with YOU for so long. You can't help who you root for, just the same as I can't help rooting for a team that lost four straight Superbowls and is the only team that hasn't gone to the playoffs this century. I'm not jealous of the Patriots success. There seems to be this general notion that all people who shit on the Patriots are just mad that they've been successful for so long. Success breeds contempt. That's not so with me. For me it's just all the controversies, whether substantiated with evidence or mere coincidence, I'll admit whole-heartedly, I can't get over it. Again, it's NOT a reflection on you. You're the only Patriots fan on here. I've always liked having as many fans of as many different teams on here. I'll probably continue to bring things up, but it WON'T be to elicit a reaction out of you. If anything, it'll probably be to challenge Mork, who seems to have logical, empirical evidence for everything in the face of the contrary, because if he doesn't see it with his own eyes, then it's a lie. I'm not a dick. I am trying to be more civil on here. How can evidence be both empirical and logical?

Maybe I'm stepping out of place by saying this, but I think creating a thread just to respond to someone is probably out of line and not necessary IMO.

Sometimes I throw words around without knowing their true definition to sound smart.
