Top 5 Giants players to watch
5 - Justin Tuck. I could easily say JPP or Osi for this, but they will be going up against Tyron Smith, and will be a battle. Tuck will be going against the RT (Doug Free?), and he is going to have to be the one to create pressure for the rest of the DLine.
4 - Starting LT (Beatty/Locklear). I assume Demarcus Ware is going to attack the LT the whole game, mainly because it is Eli's blindside and because that is our weakest part of he line. Whoever is starting MUST be on their A-game.
3 - Victor Cruz. Cruz dominated DAL last year, but now with them having sufficient CBs, the task might be a bit more challenging. Cruz must continue to be Eli's security blanket.
2 - Hakeem Nicks. I put Nicks above Cruz because Nicks has been injured. Sure, he got his feet wet against NE, but NE was playing many backups. Hopefully Nicks will transition to the flow of the game, and be part of the 1-2 punch the NYG had last year which was a key factor to the SB run.
1 - Eli Manning. Not a surprise. From what I have seen in the preseason, it appears the Eli of last year is here to stay. Hopefully he keeps his composure and passes like the QB he was last year in the playoffs. Leading a win at home on opening night is a huge confidence boost, especially when you are beating a rival too.

Top 5 Cowboys players to watch
5 - Demarco Murray. When he played last year, DAL was a top team as he gave Tony Romo a lot more time to make throws due to play action and what not. If he plays good, DAL can be a great team, but it all starts here.
4 - Doug Free. He is not really a great player, and going against the top DLine in the league makes matters even worse. He is going to have to hold his ground against Tuck, Osi, and JPP. He has to have a perfect game.
3 - Brandon Carr. The big downfall to DAL last year was their secondary. With Carr [and Claiborne] coming in, DAL has hopes to defend the great WRs in the NFC EAST, such as Nicks, Cruz, Jackson, Maclin, Garcon, and more. We will see if the big investment into Carr pays off.
2 - Demarcus Ware. Pressure is the key. Ware will get his shots, but the question is, how many? If he can constantly get to Eli, DAL has a good shot at winning.
1 - Tony Romo. Whenever the Giants and Cowboys play, the QBs will always be the main focus of the game. Romo has shown to be a great QB, as shown by his 30+ TDs and 10- INTs. But he has been known to let the team down when they need him the most. Will he prove people wrong with a win at Metlife against the defending SB champs to start the season?

Game Expectation:
This will what we have all been waiting for. Ultimately, I expect this to be a back and forth game. However, I think the NYG pass attack will be a bit much for DAL. It will be a close game, but the GGGGGGMen will come out of Metlife with a victory.
