While I dont like Brady, I think the punishment was harsh for the league not having any concrete proof. Dont think Brady is the guy to make a example out of either. All this is doing is tarnishing the legacy of arguably the best quarterback of all time. Welcome to the forum!

No way Goodell can recover from this one. His credibility is shot and no one is going to ever take his word for something again. And no he is not the only one responsible for this, but he couldn't have handled his part of this investigation any worse.
Owners have to be getting tired of the amount of wasted money on this. They spent at least 5 million on the Wells report and who knows how much they have spent on the rest of this so called investigation.

BTW Lorin Reisner, a Ted Wells associate has been the primary representation for the NFL in this case. So much for that independent report...

Jimmy Garappolo worked almost exclusively with the first team yesterday. The Pats are at least preparing for Brady to miss some time then.

Jimmy Garappolo worked almost exclusively with the first team yesterday. The Pats are at least preparing for Brady to miss some time then. Sorry Juggs but that is complete BS. Jimmy and Brady have split the snaps about 50/50 so far during camp, with the exception of yesterdays "public"(season ticket holder, media, and waitlist only) practice where Jimmy got the majority of the reps. Last year during camp Brady took about 50 percent of the reps with Jimmy and Mallett splitting the rest of them and there were plenty of days where Brady's reps were down to 20-30 percent. The reality is the Pats always prepare like this anyways and any different approach wouldnt be taken until mid preseason at the earliest.

Hopefully Judge Berman decides to tell the NFL to turn over their emails to Wells, not under seal. Pretty sure the NFL would agree to settle for no suspension, rather than do that...

Um, it's not BS. It's a fact. You may draw a conclusion differently than I did, but Garroppolo did take most of the 1 reps yesterday.

It is a fact that the reps are being handled very similar to how they are handled every other year.

Except the pats had no reason to believe Brady might not be playing last year. last year, Jimmy was also a diii rookie going into a very complex offense and probably needed more reps than he does now. Even if the reps stay the same (which doesn't seem to be at all the case), that wpyldeab Jimmy is getting more prep this year.

So Brady is getting basically the same amount of reps this year as he was last year and that means they are preparing for him to sit games? Jimmy essentially split the other 50 percent of the reps with Mallett last season and Mallett took about half the reps the season before. I am telling you, whether you want to believe it or not this is the exact same preparation that goes on this time of year. There is no story to write here. If something is different say three weeks from now, then there is something to write about.
