Last week was a good effort Rams; I am happy with the performance, only lost by 1 point without going for the two point-conversion, using a backup kicker who missed an extra point, and not using steven jackson the whole game and without a few key starters. Not bad at all. I'm actually happy we lost against Dallas because Janoris Jenkins got burned a few times; it will make him so much better and prepared for Torrey Smith.
Here is what I think happens Vs. Baltimore Ravens:
The Rams are going all out in this game and using all their starters (unlike last week). I think they will win for this reason.
Predicted Score:
Rams 28, Ravens 17

Wow I didn't know that the Rams kicker missed an extra point, the only missed extra points I've seen was the John Carney miss in 2003 and Ndamukong Suh in 2010
But, the Ravens' defense hasn't allowed much points in pre season except to the Lions, and the Rams could've only score more than 20 points against the Chiefs, who aren't good in pre season games
I'd say, Ravens 20, Rams 14

Last week the Cowboys manhandled the Rams for the 1st quarter. If Romo had stayed in any longer we might have had to throw in the towel to 'stop the fight' - the Rams being in no position to defend their endzone. I will be massively disappointed if the Rams aren't vastly better on Thursday. I hope Gibson and Smith don't get quality time. Neither looks like being on the roster for long. I'd like to see McNeil and Hoomanawanui given most of the game at TE to sort out that battle. I'd also like to see a little variation in our offense. Why stay with the vanilla package if it doesn't work? If you can't stay on the field then how can you judge players?

Their starters were killing us. I agree with cutting Smith and Gibson. In my opinion, Smith hasn't looked that good so far. And he's just another small little guy. We have too many small little receivers that don't have much big play ability. This is who I want to see start on Thursday: QB: Sam Bradford RB: Steven Jackson WR1: Brian Quick WR2: Chris Givens TE: Lance Kendricks (I want him to get more practice so he can be a stud in the regular season... He hasn't really gotten much playing time) WR3/slot receiver: Danny Amendola I really want to see Quick and Givens start. At the very minimum atleast let Quick start. It's the last preseason game he might show something before the regular season. Once it's the regular season the Rams don't have the opportunity to try him out against #1's anymore.

I'll settle for Jackson coming out of the game without an injury. I don't really want him in there with his history. I'd like to see Richardson get a lot of time at RB. He's won the #2 RB spot but he looks raw and unsure of the schemes. I'd like to see Givens and Amendola start with McNeil at TE. Pettis, Quick, and Kendricks can have the 2nd stint with Davis at QB. Defensively i'd like to see more coverage and less blitzing. I wouldn't mind seeing Laurinaitis at RLB covering Quinn's backside.

dude we better not lose this game... rams starters vs. bench. This should be an ass-kicking.

It's preseason. The score is irrelevant. It doesn't matter if we end up winning or losing by 20 points. Our key players looking sharp and health is more imprtant. Most Rams fans on the ESPN forum are more concerned with the performance of the O-Line. I agree with them. Link to Rams forum at ESPN: espn.go.com/nfl/team/forum/_/name/stl/st-louis-rams
