Top 5 NYG Performers
5. Victor Cruz 5 REC ; 28 YDS === Besides that one drop on 3rd down, Cruz was great, as he was once again the security blanket for Eli. He will have a great season.
4. Da'rel Scott 16 RSH YDS ; 12 REC YDS ; 1 BLK PUNT === Scott made a case to be on the roster. Whether good running, good receiving ability, or amazing special teams play, Scott was great.
3. Ramses Barden 3 REC ; 46 YDS ; 1 TD === This was a make or break game for Barden, and he showed up, and big. Great route running. Good hands. Things are now looking up for Barden.
2. Eli Manning 17-21 ; 148 YDS ; 1 TD === Pinpoint accuracy, and two of his incompletions were drops by his targets. On his game all night, shred the Bears D.
1. David Wilson 49 RSH YDS ; 26 REC YDS === He gave the GMen momentum, and kept numerous plays going. Refused to go down. Really showed the talent that made him a 1st round pick. Ahmad Bradshaw watch out.

Needs to improve
Blocking === Even though the stats would show that Eli had a nice time in the pocket and completed many passes, he was just on his game despite rather poor blocking. Same for Wilson, who was hard to take down all night. The OL needs to improve on blocking. If they mesh, the NYG offense can be top notch.

My Thoughts
~ The starting offense was even more efficient than last week. Eli shred the CHI D apart, and David Wilson showed why he was picked 32nd, showing his speed and his strength.
~ Our starting defense was once again great. Even though they recorded no sacks, they terrorized Jay Cutler, forcing him to a miserable 9-21 performance. The only fault, backup CB Bruce Johnson allowing Brandon Marshall to get behind him enough for an easy score.
~ David. Wilson. Wow! What a game for him. With Bradshaw sidelined, he took the most of his opportunity and should play a lot this season and bring a lot of intensity to a NYG offense that lacked it a couple years ago.
~ Ramses Barden had a great game. Gonna be tough to decide who will be the no.3 WR. Either him, Randle, or Hixon will get it (Jernigan is at a disadvantage as he is a slot WR). Should be interesting to see who gets cut from the WR group, as WR David Douglas had a great game on special teams and receiving.
