1) Houston Texans - Khalil Mack, OLB, Buffalo - I just like him better than Clowney. I don't know if Houston can see past the hype, but I think he's a better fit, and has less questions. Better all around player even, although Clowney can certainly get after the QB faster.
2) St. Louis Rams - Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina - I think they trade this dude to someone. But if they can't, easily the mosttalented physically gifted player on the board.
3) Jacksonville Jaguars - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson - Best two Defensive players off the board, and Blackmon isn't playing in Jacksonville this year. This needs to happen.
4) Cleveland Browns - Johnny Manziel, QB, Texas A&M - The Browns are one of those franchises that can never really see past the hype. I hope they pass on Johnny here, because my dad is a fan, but I don't see them doing it.
5) Oakland Raiders - Mike Evans, WR, Texas A&M - Big time receiver, I see this guy going big and going early.
6) Atlanta Falcons - Greg Robinson, OL, Auburn - If the Falcons are not the team to jump up at 2, I guess I have them shitting themselves with the top tackle falling all the way to 6 for them.
7) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Eric Ebron, TE, UNC - No Evans, but another big bodied receiver.
8) Minnesota Vikings - Anthony Barr, OLB, UCLA - Pass Rusher extraordinaire, He'll spend some time in an NFL weight room, but I suspect with his natural gifts, he'll be a talented QB hitter.
9) Toronto Bills - Jake Matthews, OL, Texas A&M - Holy crap, 3 Aggies in the top 10 picks! This is like, some sort of historical domination. And oh btw, the Bills could use a tackle.
10) Detroit Lions - Haha Clinton-Dix, S, Alabama - Detroit needs secondary help, and they've already got a young stud in Slay who I think will be an excellent number 1 CB, just need help in the deep back.
11) Tennessee Titans - Justin Gilbert, CB, Oklahoma State - Not sure how Juggs will feel about this. But it's nearly blasphemy that the first corner would be taken outside the top 10.
12) New York Giants - Taylor Lewan, OT, Michigan - I know the Giants filled in some spots on their Oline through FA this off season, but it was such a major trainwreck last year, and mostly due to injuries. I think Lewan is close to BPA at this spot, and he can work in as a swing tackle to start, maybe win a job from a vet.
13) St. Louis Rams - Calvin Pryor, S, Louisville - They need help in the back end. Man what a draft this would be if they nailed the best (IMO) Safety on top of Clowney.
14) Chicago Bears - Aaron Donald, DT, Pitt - Losing Melton, and their Dline was just terribad last year. I know they had injuries, but man, this is Chicago. We gotta stop the run, and Donald can do that and put a hand in the passers face. I love this pick.
15) Pittsburgh Steelers - Kyle Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech - Shout out to the Steeler fans here. I think you won me over a little bit with your praise of Fuller. Not the first DB off the board, but I think most of you guys will be okay with this pick. I've grown to like this dude a lot over the last month.
16) Dallas Cowboys - CJ Mosley, ILB, Alabama - Any defensive player will work out for the Cowboys. Mosley can come in and be a leader.
17) Baltimore Ravens - Jimmie Ward, S, Northern Illinois - I love me some Jimmie Ward. I might be crazy thinking three safties in the top 20 picks. But this is a passing league, and DBs are all that and more. This dude is the real deal.
18) New York Jets - Darqueze Dennard, CB, Michigan State - Whoa, Not a WR? The Jets struck out on like three corners in the off season this year. They are desperate for some backfield help.
19) Miami Dolphins - Zach Martin, OT/OG, Notre Dame - BPA Olineman here. If the Dolphins draft anything but Oline, I will... well, not do anything special. But I'll be surprised.
20) Arizona Cardinals - Ryan Shazier, OLB, Ohio St. I like Shazier a lot. He'll be a very solid player in this Cardinals defense.
21) Green Bay Packers - RaShede Hageman, DE, Minnesota - Pretty much what I said about the bears, but I don't like the Packers as much. But I do love RaShede. I am actually hoping the Chiefs grab this dude at 23 when we don't have a top 4 WR fall to us.
22) Philadelphia Eagles - Odell Beckham Jr., WR, LSU - Best WR on the board! And what a playmaker for a coach like Chip.
23) Kansas City Chiefs - Brandin Cooks, WR, Oregon State - Ahh, The Chiefs pick. We missed out on OBJ so I guess we just gotta settle for Cooks. I think he could easily pass up our guys and be the #2 WR by opening day.
24) Cincinnati Bengals - Timmy Jernigan, DT, Florida State - BPA, but when Geno went down, their defense sort of faltered, a lot. Put another big quick dude next to Geno and that front seven could be monstrous.
25) San Diego Chargers - Stephon Tuitt, DE, Notre Dame - Dline needs help. Tuitt is a solid pick up.
26) Cleveland Browns - Cody Latimer, WR, Indiana - Little bit of a homer pick for me. But I really like this Latimer kid. And the Browns are totally the type of dudes to reach. So, it totally works.
27) New Orleans Saints - Jason Verrett, CB, TCU - I really like Verrett a lot. He could make the 'Chiefs Secondary is better than the Saints Secondary' a tougher debate.
28) Carolina Panthers - Marqise Lee, WR, USC - BPA WR, and I think they'll be pretty happy with this pick if Lee falls to them.
29) New England Patriots - Louis Nix, NT, Notre Dame - Awesome player, sort of surprised myself how many DLinemen I had in these bottom 8 picks. But even with all of the Pats Dline they have now, I don't think they keep all the guys currently on the roster after this upcoming Season. Nix could be filling in for some of those cap casualties. In all honesty though, I doubt the Patriots make this pick at all. Probably a QB hungry team from the second.
30) San Francisco 49ers - Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio St. - I've got a lot of DBs in this first round. I think I mighta messed up. But the 49ers need DB help bad, and Roby is a solid talent.
31) Denver Broncos - Demarcus Lawrence, DE, Boise State - Ware won't last forever, and even if he is solid this year, They'll need Lawrence going into 2015. Depth pick. Considered going Oline here.
32) Seattle Seahawks - Joel Bitonio, OL, Nevada - I honestly don't even know what the Seahawks could 'need' I did know their Oline wasn't top 10. So plug Bitonio in at Guard and upgrade somewhere.
2) St. Louis Rams - Jadeveon Clowney, DE, South Carolina - I think they trade this dude to someone. But if they can't, easily the most
3) Jacksonville Jaguars - Sammy Watkins, WR, Clemson - Best two Defensive players off the board, and Blackmon isn't playing in Jacksonville this year. This needs to happen.
