According to walterfootball, an OLB is the #3 team need behind ILB and S:
3. Outside Linebacker: Victor Butler will be back next season to join Junior Galette as the Saints' primary pass-rushers, but the Saints could use a third player to get to the quarterback, especially considering the uncertainty surrounding the unproven Butler, who will be coming off a torn ACL

Just to note:
I almost put Stanley Jean-Baptiste at 32 to Seattle. I see SJB being a possible top 40 selection. Tall CB with a 42" (I think) vertical! With a lot of WRs being able to jump up and get the ball in addition to the fact that they are getting more physical, SJB is the guy to counter that kind of guy.

I agree we could use more OLB help, but not at Galette's position unless it's depth. Galette had 12 sacks this past year and he is very young. Galette is well on his way to becoming one of the best pass rushing linebackers in the league. Shazier plays the same position as Galette. (weakside LB)We could use a good player as a backup to Galette, because we don't really have anybody behind him, but the first round is not for drafting backups/depth. We need a SAM linebacker. Like Kyle Van Noy or Trevor Reilly. Even Jeremiah Attaochu.

My analysis on some of the selections: BeastifiedJake Matthews to MIN? Matthews is a LT and they already have Matt Kalil. You did your's right after the WR combine yesterday? lol. While I think Moncrief deserves to be a top 32 pick, I see him in the 35-50 range. cityofchamps and 101mitchIf Derek Carr is going to MIN, it will definitely not be at 8. I can see them trading back to the 10-15 range and taking Carr then, but cannot see any instance in which MIN goes Carr at their original selection. Beastified and cityofchampsNot sure if Morgan Moses goes in the 1st round. He was a fringe 1st round pick at best and had a lackluster combine from what I have been hearing. @all Do not be surprised if Pryor goes in the 2nd round. Came in 3 inches shorter than what he was listed at (listed 6'2"; came in at 5'11").

Dude.. don't even ask me, LOL. I just shoved him wherever I could cause I couldn't find a spot for him but I don't see him sliding out of the top 10.
Believe this, I can see MIN trading back with SF, and then selecting a QB. The dark horse? Jimmy Garropolo. It would be a shock if he went to MIN at like 30th overall or something.
Some ESPN analyst recently predicted Garropolo would go in the first, however.

I think you put too much stock in Combine results and pay too much attention to what the so called "experts" say about how players did. Sure Morgan Moses ran a 5.35 40 time and he didn't lift, but I have seen Moses compared to Ryan Clady in terms of pure Pass Protection and Clady's 40 at his Pro Day was 5.18 (he didn't do the combine thanks to an injury). I don't see how much of a difference :.17 makes in an Offensive Lineman. They are hardly called upon to run 40 yards at full speed. Also, it pretty much isn't a secret anymore that the Vikings are HEAVILY trying to get a QB in this Draft. It wouldn't surprise me if they take Derek Carr at 8. They took Christian Ponder at 7 when he was supposed to be a mid 2nd Round Pick remember? And if you ask me, Carr is a better prospect than Ponder was when he came out of the Draft so yea.

Are you guys serious? You think Greg Robinson is going that high?
No one cares about what lineman do at the combine. And the vast majority of you all had Mathews first in your previous mock drafts, so don't try and say the combine wasn't the reason why.
Mathews is quicker in pass blocking and looks stronger on tape in run blocking. Robinson did more bench reps, but that doesn't always translate. I think there is an enormous false consensus on Greg Robinson's ability and draft stock. I don't expect to change people's minds, but I've gone over these things many times, and I'm certain Jake Mathews will be selected higher than Robinson, even if a team debating between the two needed a right tackle.

I've had Greg Robinson as the best tackle for several months. Remember I picked him over Matthews?
