Peyton: 2006 (Colts vs. Bears) Eli: 2007 (Giants vs. Patriots)
Peyton: 2010 (Colts vs. Saints) Eli: 2011 (Giants vs. Patriots)
Peyton: 2013 (Broncos vs. Seahawks) Eli: 2014?
===
The trend has shown that whenever Peyton managed to make it to the Super Bowl, that his brother Eli brings his team to the big event the very next year. Maybe there will be a Eli/Brady III next year, who knows.
***credit to a member of the Giants message boards for pointing out this interesting trend***

Even better? whoever opens against Philadelphia in their home opener has won the super bowl four straight years o_0
Eagles 2014 home opponents: Giants, Cowboys, Redskins, Panthers, Jaguars, Seahawks, Rams, Titans.
Well, we can eliminate the Giants, Redskins, and Jaguars based on their propensity to suck.
That leaves the Cowboys, Panthers, Seahawks, Rams and Titans as the only possible winners.
I'm crossing off Dallas since dallas must play a divisional game week 17 and is therefore at the lowest odds to be the home opener of any of these teams (that's the way the NFL picks the openers as well fun fact).
The super bowl loser hasn't won the next year since... 1972 with the phins. the Hawks who are about to lose the super bowl are crossed out.
Then of course there's the OROY QB curse, which dictates that a QB OROY has only ever gone on to win the superbowl once (roethlisberger), so that eliminates... oh wow.
THE PANTHERS AND THE RAMS.
Which means that by your own logic plax, basically out of your own mouth, the Titans are going to win the super bowl next year. It's assured.
