1.PG, Kryie Irving: A scoring machine, Irving show cased a great feel for the game, knowing when to shoot and when to pass. Irvings biggest strength comes in his handle and shooting. Irving stands to improve most with his defense, he lacks timing and lateral quickness to handle truely elite level athletes.
2.PG, Ricky Rubio: Rubio is the truest poit guard since Jason Kidd, whom I actually compare him to. He doesn't panic when the defense changes, has an outstanding handle, and is pen point on passes. Rubio's biggest strength is the head on his shoulders, he is unbelievalby smart, he knows how to play excelenct defense with out fouling, and his a very hard worker. Rubio needs to improve his isolation, he can score off and open three, the pick on roll, and can create for his teammates. But not for him self, but that may stim from him often being to unselfish.
3. PF, Kennith Faried: Faried has a motor as high as the Empire State Building, he doesn't nessicerally us strength to get double figure rebounds, he uses speed, always moving to get in a better position and grab the rebound. Faried's biggest strength is his high motor. Faried stands to impove the most in anyway he can score, Faried is an inconsistant finisher, he can't back down, and can face up, and at 6'8" a high motor is his only elite quality.
4. PG/SG, Iman Shumpert: Shumpert is an elite defender, with a nice handle, above average passing, with elite athletism, and can find a way to score. Shumperts strength is best when playing on the wing, he can run circles around older or wing players with a lack of athletism. Shumpert often struggles with his flow of the game, he takes way to many out side shoots for someone with his finishing ability, and he needs to learn the basic rule, basketball starts at the rim, you attack first, shoot second. It's why OKC lost the NBA finals, and why big men are the most important position, and why you do in fact need shoot blocking.
5. SF; Kawhi Lennard: Lennard, like Shumpert, gets paid for defense. He didn't have as big of a role on the Spurs a Iman did on the Knicks, but Lennard was very effective and efficent when on the floor. Lennards strenghts are his defense and finishing ability, he has an underrated jump shot but doesn't look to use it which is good becuase I would rather have someone who has jumper and doesn't use it much than someone who doesn't have a jump shot and uses it to much. Lennard can improve the most with learn to create in isolation.
6. SG; Klay Thompson: Klay Thompson is an elite three point shoot, with great size, and above average defense. Thompson's best attribute is his three ball, he can knock it down with great consistancy and with a defender in his face or not. Thompson stands to improve the most with his handle and with that with come isolation skills.
7. PF; Tristan Thompson: Tristan Thompson is a super athletic, shot blocking, rebounding power forward with amazing potential. Thompson was forced to play center last year next to Jamison in which he fair pretty well but he will do even better noe that Jamison is gone and Thompson can play in his natural position. Thompsons strength i his high motor and athletism, he fights for evry rebound and every play. Thompson could improve most with any kind of offense. He can't back down, or face up and on top of that he needs to start making his free throws.
8. SG; Alec Burks: Alec Burks is very underrated, he is an eltite athlete, with a nice handle, he's a good defender, and an excelent finisher. Burks biggest strength is his athletism coupled with his shockingly good handle. Burks needs to improve in his shooting, while he can shoot from the NBA three point line he needs to do it with more consistancy; Burks shoot 29% from 3 in college and a much impoved 33% last year.
9. C; Ernes Kanter: Like teammate Alec Burks, Kanter is rediculously underrated. He is an elite defender with amazing strength plus he can rebound with anyone. Kanter runs the floor hard and has the ability to get out and defend the pick and roll. Kanters biggest strength is his rebounding and defense. Kanter stands to improve the most with his shooting and backing down skills, while he show case a strong back to the basket play he can improve most by adding a Dwight Howard or LMA hook, and while he show case shootig while in Trukey we didn't se much in the NBA.
10. PG; Brandon Knight: Knight's only elite quality is his athletism, and while he can shoot, pass, play defense, and his handle is already polished. Knight's biggest strength is his athletism his can get around on the floor with ease to set up a teammate or score. Knight needs to learn though that a point guard is best when he works well with his teammates.
11. SF/PF; Derrick Williams: Wiliams is a elite scorer, besides Irving Williams is the best scorer in the draft; so you might be asking why is he 11th then? Well I will tell you, It's because he is a HORRIBLE defender. Williams is in a bad spot because his tweenerness. He is not athletic enough to handle even average SFs and when he faces a Lebron or Iguadala, they can blow right by him. When Williams faces power forwards he gets backed down to no end.he doesn't have the strength to defend a post up player and can get pushed around on the block. Williams could still be a star but he is going to have to pick a position(SF or PF) an specifically work on what he needs. If I were him I would become a true powerforward because strength can be added, athletism can not.
12. SG, Marshon Brooks
13. PG, Kemba Walker
14. PG, Isaih Thomas
15. PG, Norris Cole
