JindredI think you are overrating Carr (and Ware). Carr is a decent CB2 from what I know. No where NEAR the money he is making. And Ware has not been good this year. MarchingOnRoberts is not the best WR3 in the league, but you are telling me that a team has problems on their offensive line and their long-term QB situation, and they are gonna pick a WR? It is not even that they have Fitz and Floyd. It is that those two are under contract for a while, and no team is gonna spend a 1st on another WR when the situation is the way it currently is for ARZ. Ware gets a pass from me for this year. He has been a monster his whole career and then one year with some injuries and he plays a bit bad he still is a force when he is in the game, he just hasn't been in a lot. I think Carr is much better than he is given credit for. Brandon Marshall even said he doesn't like playing against him. What can he do right now when there is little to no pass rush and his defense can't stop the run to save their life? A CB can only do so much with a brutal team around him.

What am I missing that people have Hageman tumbling?
If you swapped the Rams picks they'd make more sense. Lewan isn't going higher than 3rd tackle.

"Jake Mathews has seen his stock slip recently", I don't think that could be further from the truth. I've been hearing he's favored by most teams in the top 10 as the best offensive tackle - left or right. It depends on who takes the first one. If it's STL at #2, I'd expect Lewan or Robinson, but Jacksonville, Cleveland, Oakland or Atlanta would all take Mathews first I suspect.

Lewan's a more athletic/talented player than Matthews, and more NFL ready than Robinson. There can certainly be cases made for Lewan above both of them, as well as cases made for Lewan below both of them. Here's how I see it: Matthews: Most NFL ready tackle in the draft, but out of the "big 3" tackles, he has the least amount of upside. Lewan: Is still NFL ready, albeit not as much as Matthews. Lewan still has room to improve a lot as well. Robinson: Pretty raw, but has the highest upside out of anybody. As for Hageman, he just didn't show much on the field. Just look at his game log - At times he'd be utterly dominant and at times he'd just disappear. No denying his ability but he's definitely got some question marks.

I've seen a couple insiders say they have talked to teams, and a lot of them have Lewan higher on the board than Matthews. The question is which teams are the ones saying that, but we have no way of knowing. Maybe Matthews' stock isn't slipping as much as it is Lewan/Robinson's rising, but it's the same result either way.

2. STL - Taylor Lewan === He will not go this high. Too many off the field concerns to warrant the 2nd pick of the draft.5. OAK - Khalil Mack === People have mocked Mack here for a while, and I do not get it. Sio Moore is a 2nd year player who is pretty good at his spot; just do not see OAK going OLB in the 1st round13. STL - Mike Evans === Telling you right now, he is not falling this far. The farthest he would drop is to the Giants, but I see him as an almost definite top 10 selection16. DAL - Ha'sean Clinton-Dix === A team will reach on him sooner. Look out for Buffalo who is in the market for replacing their all-pro FS; Detroit also makes sense, as does St.Louis.17. BAL - Zack Martin === Because he is just about the cleanest prospect in this class, I see him going higher.22. PHI - Odell Beckham Jr === Doubt he falls this far. The lowest I see him going is 18 to the Jets24. CIN - Stephon Tuitt === Do not see him going in the 1st round at all.28. CAR - Donte Moncrief === Love him, but not sure he gets into the 1st31. DEN - Kyle Van Noy === Day 2 playerMarchingOn

plax - 2 - There was absolutely no way in the world Eric Fisher was going #1 until about 3 or 4 days before the draft. Luke Joeckel was a lock for #1 throughout the whole process. I am definitely not saying the same thing is happening with Lewan, but I just don't think it's out of the picture that he does go #2. And Jeff Fisher doesn't really seem to mind dirty/off the field players as much as some other coaches. Besides, even after Lewan was charged with his misdemeanors, his stock never dropped which makes me think NFL teams do not really care about them. 5 - It's more or less BPA, but I see your point. 16 - Good point, I agree with you he probably won't fall that far. I won't go back and edit my mock, but yeah, you're probably right. 17 - Which teams could take him before then? The Giants maybe, but besides them I don't really see any. 24 - I don't understand this. Not saying you're wrong, but I've seen people say this for a while now and I just do not understand why. Ealy is kind of a tweener prospect, and Dee Ford is a situational pass rusher. I think Stephon Tuitt is the best and most complete DE in the class besides Clowney. Add in the fact that Tuitt is versatile enough to play DT.. I mean, that really seems like a first round prospect to me. 28 - Perhaps. I just thought Carolina would like someone who is more NFL ready as opposed to a player like Allen Robinson who could struggle in the beginning.

MarchingOn - 2 - You are incorrect on saying Fisher was not #1 until a few days before the draft, there was a chance to that to happen for many weeks. And you are comparing Fisher going #1 in a very week class against Lewan who, whether you want to admit it or not, has red flags and is up against an insanely better draft. 17 - I can see Martin going top 10, to be quite honest. It is hard to say a place for him other than the Giants and Rams, but there will be teams trading and I see a team trading up for Martin if he falls past STL at 13. 24 - I do not think Tuitt is as complete as you say he is. He has a lot of work to do with his game and I cannot see him as having too high of a ceiling. Ealy is being asked to gain 20 pounds to make a switch to DT, so he will be there in the pros it seems (or 3-4 DE).

He certainly has red flags. And I'm not just talking about the misdemeanors. I know some other stories about Lewan. He's a douchebag for sure. His athleticism and ability are undeniable however, and he is not inferior to Matthews or Robinson in that regard. 6'7 (pushing 6'8) with long arms and the most athletic OT in the draft besides Robinson. He hasn't gotten the Jake Long comparison only because they both attended the same school. And he actually improved his game considerably senior year. On the field, there aren't really any question marks for Lewan. I honestly think it's a toss up on which order the "big 3" OTs go.
