12-team PPR auction keeper league. Up to 5 keepers, kept for salary from previous year. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 1 RB/WR, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE.
I've been offered:
Matt Forte ($26) Kenbrell Thompkins ($4)
for my
CJ Spiller ($16) Reggie Wayne ($25)
This is basically a question of whether Spiller will be used enough this year (and in future years) to warrant holding onto him for his future value. The Bears offense looks good enough such that Forte will significantly outproduce Spiller this year. Barring injury, Fred Jackson isn't going away. Forte is two years older. For reference this is my current starting lineup:
QB: Romo RB: Spiller RB: C Johnson RB/WR: L Miller WR: D Thomas WR: R Wayne WR/TE: A Brown TE: J Graham
Bench guys: QB: T Pryor RB: B Pierce WR: J Gordon WR: C Givens WR: M Williams WR: J Simpson WR: S Hill TE: J Finley
Losing Wayne, I could start Gordon, Givens or Williams in his place.

Hey I'm in that league. I think right Fozz? I've been trying to rebuild the team I took over for two years now. I scored the forth highest this week and still lost. UGH.

No, F-Jax isn't going anywhere long as he's healthy Shame on me any anyone else who didn't tag that coach's bold-faced lie when he said he'd run Spiller until he threw up. My antennae were way up on that, but I wasn't sure what to think. Forte is not that old. Wayne is. But I don't trust Kenbrell that much at this point. Wayne probably has another 2 good years left. Looks like a risk reward kinda deal.
F-Jax may be getting up there, but doesn't have a lot of mileage on him. Yeah, I know his first couple of years were in the CFL, but they don't use RBs nearly as much as they do at NFL. Think I read that 1 in 10 or 20 plays involved a RB. I probably accept the trade, but it's close. I really don't wanna give up Wayne. But ya know, Brady is desparate right now. But when Gronk comes back, and Amendola whenever, will Thompkins have solidified his #2 spot?

Edited the OP to note that this is a PPR league.
Yeah Craig, that's the league you're in. I hate high scoring weeks where I still lose. In Ace's dynasty league, my week 1 total was 0.1 less than the league's record high from last year. I lost by 50 points to Juggs.
I don't trust Kenbrell at all. I'm mostly looking at this as Spiller and Wayne for Forte. At Wayne's current salary, he wouldn't be in consideration as a keeper. I'm leaning towards accepting, but the Bills fan in me makes it so difficult to trade Spiller away.

Oh, so if you keep them, it's at last year's auction price? Never been in an auction league, so don't go by me. Participated in 1 mock, and was stymied. lol
Edit: PPR should have been mentioned right away. But all your options are PPR friendly, especially Forte, so....

Auction leagues are fun. The drafts are more challenging, but it's easier to craft a team in the mold you want (and easier to completely mess up if you don't go in with a plan). After five years of snake drafts, I finally managed to convince a friends league to switch to an auction. We're only two weeks in, but I'm the only undefeated team and I have the highest total points.

I don't think forte will outscore CJ enough to warrant this trade. Wayne may be old but I don't like your other options at WR this season. I'd stick with CJ
