First off you do realise that players like adrian peterson dont grow on trees. The NFL will NEVER find another guy even close to peterson till another couple of years. The guy is on a different level and to even compare anybody to him is ridiculous And before you all start jumping out at me for saying Collins is the next AP, I'm not saying he is. I put that as the title because AP was the last freshman RB to run for 100+ in his first 3 games. If you don't want people to imply what your not really saying, then change the title. The game has changed now anyway. Its gonna be very rare to find a good RB like peterson no matter what the case is now, even if the stats compare to him. three 100 yard games might look impressive, but arkansas has played 3 no name teams, so of course he looks good. I think a guy running for over 100 yards on the best team in college football is still impressive than what arkansas has done. They will have a chance to prove it on oct 19th though

Fwiw Collins has been splitting with Williams who has also run for 100+ in all 3 games. What Collins has done is impressive regardless of competition. Remember most SEC teams start with cupcakes mostly, as do most teams in general. But a freshman has never done it in the SEC...ever. Its a great accomplishment regardless of competition. Stats don't tell the story though, granted. But if you watch him run, you can just see. He's going to be great. Every announcer thus far has called him special.

He did it again Saturday. 14 carries, 116 yards, and a TD. Only reason he didn't do it all 5 games is cause Derby was our QB against Rutgers and they loaded the box with 8 or 9 guys every play...Williams had like 12 carries for 18 yards lol.
Arkansas freshman record for 100 yard games in a season is held by none other than Darren McFadden...he got 5 of them. Collins is about to tie that record this Saturday against Florida.

Second off, Collins isnt even the best freshman RB. He is the 2nd best, but trey edmunds from virginia tech is way better. And before you argue otherwise, keep in mind that edmunds ran for over 100 yards on alabama this year already. Any guy that can run on that mighty alabama defense has to be pretty damn good Bama's D isn't as great as it was in past years, and that game is looking like a fluke. Edmunds hasn't had a good game since.

Collins named SEC Freshman of the year, and is just the second Razorback in team history to fun for 1000+ yards as a Freshman joining Darren McFadden.
