According to ESPN, Victor Cruz and the New York Giants are close to a long-term deal. The parameters are set for the deal, but details, such as the contract language need to be finalized. No obstacles are expected to hold up negotiations according to sources.
UPDATE
Victor Cruz has officially signed a 5-Year/$43 Million Extension with the New York Giants which will be added on to his current 1-Year/$2.879 Million tender he signed earlier this offseason, making his current deal a 6-Year/$45.879 Million. Cruz will receive $15.6 Million Guaranteed.
Wow. What a bargain for the Giants seeing as Mike Wallace signed for 5-Years/$60 Million with the Dolphins. Wallace isn't even close to the player that Cruz is.

All I can say is FINALLY! Now time for him to get in shape again and maybe practice some ball security techniques. He sure can catch a ball, but not always can hold the ball. Remember the drops.
