no packer fans yet on here, so i will do there game preview this week. some stuff to watch for this game..... *Matt flynn's replacement. this is a big void on the team IMO. graham harrell is the backup right now, but he has never experienced any playing time at all. the packers did draft b.j coleman from chattanooga in the 7th round, but can he be the backup as a rookie? matt flynn did, so maybe he can *This crazy WR depth. this might be the best WR roster out of all NFL teams right now. driver, jennings, nelson, and cobb. they got other guys like james jones who are good too, but are on the bubble because of all the other WR's they have. some good weapons are gonna be cut on this team, and other teams will be picking them up, so be aware of that *Better pass rush. the packers did use there 1st round pick on DE nick perry from USC, who will likely start at OLB. the packers also drafted DT jerel worthy from michigan state in the 2nd round which was a big steal. he isnt a starter yet, but he has been making alot of noise at camp and could very well start in week 1. he will be converted to DE *Younger secondary in the future. charles woodson will retire soon, so the packers also drafted in the 2nd round, CB casey hayward from vanderbilt. likely will get some time at the nickle to start out with. they also still got tramon williams and sam shields, so dont rule out a possible trade to trade sam shields PREDICTION PACKERS 38 CHARGERS 24game will be on tommorrow at 8 PM ET on ESPN. enjoy the game

packers lost, but several players caught my eye for them
QB graham harrell. 15-27 for 135yrds and a TD. still think he needs better work and wasnt impressed for a while, but i though he finished strong
RB marc tyler. 13 attempts for 32yrds and a TD. could do better, but was the only RB on the packers that stood out
WR randall cobb. 4 catches for 58ryds and a TD. hes gets my gameball for the packers. good job to this guy, hes getting better
OLB nick perry. 3 tackles and a sack. very good job on the defense. should of not gotten a penalty IMO. hes gonna be a good one

I agree should not have gotten a penalty. That was pretty lame.

QB: Harrell saved his roster spot with that 4th preseason game.
WR: Not "might be"---but IS THE BEST WR crew in the NFL. Cobb is a "younger version" of Donald Driver. Look for him to excel on those quick 3rd down slants. Also, keep an eye on the MAD SKILLS of the undrafted rookie Boykin out of VA Tech, who made the team as their #6WR.
DEF: GB drafted a SLEW of D players. Perry and Worthy will be very effective starters. (Thank God. Maybe Hawk can finally belly up to the bar.)
SAY IT'S NOT SOOOOO!!!! Woodson might have moved to the "slower" SS position this year--but it's a MUCH BETTER place on the field to use his extraordinary talents.
