I didnt like Pugh in the top 20, or even the 1st round. I liked Hankins as a 2nd round pick. Moore was a good pick in the 3rd round. I have never claimed to be a Ryan Nassib fan, so I am not going to call this one a steal. I know nothing about Hermom, Taylor, or Cox.
Overall I thought the giants reached in the 1st, but found good value throughout the rest of the draft. I could be wrong, but it didnt seem like the giants filled their needs. I would give them a solid C.

the Giants didn't fill their needs?
Our needs:
[1] Get a RT [2] Get better on the DL [3] Get a LB [4] Get a S
===
[1] Pugh, Hermon [2] Hankins, Moore [3] did not fill this, though Cooper Taylor CAN play LB if needed. [4] Cooper Taylor will be in 3 safety sets

Drafting Nassib was kind of a shocker to me at first, but then I realized that it was more of an opportunity than a short term need.
Overall, I give it a B.

No, he is currently slotted as the starter at RT.

The giants wanted a lineman in the second im sure but the run in the first changed the strategy

The giants probably coulve gotten Pugh or Long in the 2nd round, with the way the draft went after the top 20.

The giants for one could not afford the risk of getting nobody on the line and Pugh would have gone anyway. It was a strange draft that we haven't seen before. Teams in panic were jumping on Lineman. Reese knew this and acted accordingly. Personally I would have liked to have seen the draft go more traditionally and the giants be in a better position at 19. But with what was happening at the time the giants made the best pick on the board for the needs that they had.
