Is it safe to call him a bust at this point? I mean i am hesitant to call him once, because of his 2k year and all, but he hasn't done anything at all since then. Will he ever break 1500 yards again do you think?

seriously? i mean, cmon. he still put up 1000 yards last year, and every year for that matter.
people are expecting a 2000 yd season from CJ every year because they know he did it before. we should be calling for the TEN OL before Chris Johnson as far as this season is concerned.

Chris Johnson isn't a bust, but I haven't seen many Titans games to know if that's Johnson's fault or the offensive line's fault

I don't know... he did this last year... I'm thinking he's going to be a back that starts slow and finishes strong. The lack of training with the new CBA is part of it.

Since the holdout CJ has been one of the worst starters in the league. OL isn't helping but CJ is only making things worse.

the whole reason he rushed for 2000 yards is because his line would open up huge holes for him. his line just isnt as good as it was a couple years ago

However, in a game when his team manages to score 40+ points--he better be a member of the A-team and not an AFTER-THOUGHT. If I had CJ-NO-WAY, he would be sitting on my bench week 4--only because I can't trade him, because NO ONE ELSE WANTS HIM.

This is one of the drawbacks of having a speed back. If the OL is bad, the RB suddenly becomes bad. AP has a abysmal OL, and he still puts up the numbers. It's because he can power through and shed tackles to make up for the bad OL. Johnson cannot.
