I remembered I wrote this article to apply for BR awhile ago but I ended up not using it, so if anyone is interested in learning about the rams the attachment is an article I wrote with pictures about what I think about the Rams this year and has preseason predictions. Let me know what you think, thanks. Attachments:

I'll be completely honest here beast, not trying to ruffle any feathers or anything. The biggest issue i have with the rams this year is the fact that they did not target one of the better WRs in the first round. Quick will be a decent WR, but he will not be the WR#1 the Rams need, he'll be at the same skill level of Amendola. This isnt a bad thing, but you guys need the big over the top play maker. When you get that the rest of the WRs can do what they are suppose to and will be better because of it. Last year was a bad year for everyone, i understand, look at the raiders conditioning, everyone was getting hurt left and right. And all over the nfl you could see players losing steam in the late third and through out the 4th.
The Rams are on the right road, so dont worry. I just dont see them turning that big of a corner this year. Will they do better then last year? Yes. Will they have a winning record (8-8 or better)? Yes. But I still see them at 3rd place in the NFC West behind the 49ers (1st) and Cardinals (2nd).
Next season will be the season that is going to be make or break for you guys, you get out of some contracts you will have more room and you can choose if you want to walk away from certain people. Chris Long and James Laruanitus are both up for FA at the end of the season, so the Rams need to focus on restructuring their deals NOW. Any team would want these guys on their teams and will be hard to get back once they enter the pool.
As for Chris Givens i like him, i like him a lot. He will be a late round steal for you guys, but still not the #1 you need. So far you've got the rest of the justice league (with Lauranitus being Superman) But you guys still need Batman here.

Thanks for the reply Shaggz, I feel the same way about your Raiders. I feel like a lot of people look down on them and think of them as a bottom 10 team in the league. I think the Raiders can win more than 8 games a season. I feel like Palmer didn't get a full season to grasp the offense and I feel when he does, the Raiders can go much further.
As for Givens I do not know much about him, but a lot of people seem to agree with you on him being a steal. I also do not know about Quick. Many people see him as a great fantasy sleeper for dynasty leagues and even big re-draft leagues, but like I said I'm not so sold on him. Off topic here but if you're looking for some real sleepers on the Rams it's Danario Alexander and Lance Kendricks. DX averages like 18 ypc but he never stays healthy. He can be a legit #1 if and if he stays healthy. Kendricks was a boss in the preseason and he probably will be again this preseason and his stock is going to heat up pretty fast so if you have a dynasty draft or if he is in free agency I would grab him before the preseason starts.
I also think it was pretty funny comparing Laurinaitis to Superman... So we need a Batman? Who is our Robin?!

Kendricks... nahhh, many thought he was the #2 rookie TE to get after Rudolph, man did he dissapoint with those drops. I wouldn't even own him as my 3rd TE

Is Jason Smith going to start? If yes, then I feel bad for you, but on the other side, Harvey Dahl is a tremendous pass blocker.
Anyway, why did the Rams cut Jason Brown?

Yes, Jason Smith is planned to start this season at RT. Apparently he is looking good with the new coaches and they have faith in him. Brown? I think he gave up too many sacks or was just bad at run blocking. He got moved from guard to center to bench throughout last season.

I don't know how Brown fared as run blocking, but at pass blocking he did very well over the last years. I'm surprised no one signed him yet. But they replaced him with another great center in Scott Wells. And Rodger Saffold is allowing too much pressures, it is a concern on the offensive line.

nice piece of writing. you put alot of though in it
i have a big question mark at OL for the rams though this year. they didnt do much of anything to improve that OL and that could really keep the rams from getting competitve again, unless bradford stays healthy
thinking along the lines of 5-11 or 3-13 for the rams. i think alot of rams fans arent expecting big things yet this year. another year and they will though
