I'm more inclined to attribute this to the Madden curse than the Bears being good enough to shut down Megatron.

I'm more inclined to attribute this to the Madden curse than the Bears being good enough to shut down Megatron. The Bears DID shut down Megatron, and the entire Detroit Offense for that matter(Gruden made a funny comment one time when I checked in saying "the Lions Offense has been unwatchable tonight"), but I do think the Madden Curse has been affecting him as well in terms of the whole season.

bears secondary is much better than i thought. megatron did have one drop but for the most part of the game he was covered well

I'm more inclined to attribute this to the Madden curse than the Bears being good enough to shut down Megatron. Johnson was still averaging 110+ yards a game, so the curse is not really that bad, just the loss of TD receptions. Bears D (specifically Tillman) owned him

Not the curse...Its a combination of Stafford and the bears def is really that good.

Tillman made some great plays too... like that touchdown saving punch in the endzone
